Chapter 2.5: Cafeteria Surprise Part 1

So Eun's P.O.V.

I was walking in the corridors of our school when a familiar voice shouted calling my attention. "So Eun!" He shouted. I turned around only to see the love of my life running towards me.

"Hey. What's up?" I asked. He took a deep breathe and smiled before answering my question. "Can I ask you out on a date this saturday?" He asked.

"Sure." I smiled.

"I thought that we haven't had an official date since your accident and I also wanted to start again forgetting all the problems from before." He said. I nodeed and we walked together going to our classroom.

Oh yeah. I got out of the hospital about a month ago. I've earned serious nagging from Tiffany everyday telling me about safety and stuffs. But on the bright side, I've got to spend time with Zelo everyday. He slept there but not everyday because he still had to find a solution for his problem with the fixed marriage.

Speaking of that fixed marriage, it was fixed. Hahahaha. The problem with the fixed marriage was fixed. I don't know how he solved it but I heard that Sophia's dad wanted her to marry some other guy. At first it wasn't okay with Zelo's parents but then they had another solution to their company's bankcrupt problem.

And about the problem with cheating on me with Sophia, he said they weren't on a relationship. Only Sophia thinks they are. It was one-sided. Meaning that she was too desperate to beg to her father to arrange a marriage between her and Zelo. So in short,all's well. The End. Just Kidding.

I felt a finger snap in front of my face causing me to wake up from spacing out. 'Hey." He called out.

"Ah-yeah?" I looked at him. His forehead was creased. He looked cute.

"You're spacing out." He said while putting his books inside his bag.

"I know." I chuckled.

"Let's go." He said standing up.

"Where?" I asked looking up to him. He pointed outside the classroom which made me look there. I saw students heading the same direction which was towards the cafeteria. Then i figured out that it was already lunch.

I looked back at him only to see him laughing out loud. I rolled my eyes and headed outside.

"Hey! wait for me!" He shouted but I still still look at him. I continued walking. When I felt him nearing me, I walked faster till I eventually reached the cafeteria. Then I felt someone grab my wrist from behind which made me look back.

"Caught you!" He shouted while gasping for air. Did I really walk that fast? He held my hand and led me towards the counter. He grabbed two trays and handed me one. We started moving while the lunch lady was putting food in our trays.

But what's weird was he was smiling towards the girl whose serving the food who was the same age as us. He even winked at her, and she even giggled and winked back. OMYGOSH what is happening here? Hello? Girlfriend here? Can't you see?

My good mood just left me there. Annoyed, I stepped hard on Zelo's foot hoping he would stop flirting with her but they didn't.

"Tss." Was the only word I could say there before I walked out and went to a table in the corner of the cafeteria. I thought at least Zelo would finally follow me but he's still talking with her there. They were laughing their hearts out making people look at them like they were crazy.

I decided not to mind them and just eat the food in front of me. I tried my best not to glance at them but my conscience is telling me to do it. They weren't in the counter anymore. They were in a table eating together! And I saw Zelo even gave her money. Like, WHAT IS HAPPPENING HERE?!

I couldn't take it so I went out of the cafeteria and headed for our classroom. I hope he's having fun there. I didn't notice I was already crying. I quickly wiped off the tears and and sat on my chair. I didn't look nor talk to Zelo the whole day even until we reached his house.

the next day~

I woke up with puffy eyes. It must've been because of the crying I did last night. Whatever. I'll just cover it up with make-up. I took a bath and wore my uniform. I decided the put eyeliner and mascara. I don't know why, I just felt like putting it on.

Then we reached school. Instead of talking with the boys, I headed to Isabel's table.

"Hey what's u-woah." She said when she saw me. "Why?" I asked.

"You look..uh...different?" She answered.

"How different?" I asked again. "Differently beautiful and you look cool." She smiled. We continued to talk more about things when our teacher came.

The bell just rang and it's lunch time! But I'm disappointed. I can't believe Zelo can take not talking to me for a day. Tss. I guess he found a new girl.

"So Eun!" I heard Isabel shouted. I looked at her and saw her holding a blindfold. I gave her a questioning look but she just went behind me and tied the blinfold against my eyes. "Hey!" I shouted.

"Stop struggling and just follow me." She whispered towards my ears. I didn't wanna waste anymore more energy struggling so I just followed her. We started walking and I didn't know where we are and where we're heading because the surrounding's quiet. I felt her open a door in front of us then she started untieing the blindfold. Tension was slowly building up inside of me.

The blindfold was already untied and I just wanna shout for joy with what I'm seeing right now.

'H A P P Y M O N T H S A R Y S O E U N!' Was printed in a big tarpauline with balloons surrounding it. the whole cafeteria was organised with pink balloons,confettis and many food. The lights turned off but there was a spotlight landing on a man walking towards me holding a bouquet of roses and chocolates.

When he was already near me, he smiled and hugged me tight. After a few seconds, he let go and handed me the roses and chocolates.

"I love you." He said.

"I love you too. Happy monthsary!" I smiled. Then he slowly went nearer to me until we shared our first monthsary kiss.
