Chapter 22

NICHKHUN

I slowly opened the front door and walk inside their house. I immediately went to her room. I tried to knock but no one's answering. Maybe she's already sleeping. I'll just say good night to her before going to bed.

I slowly opened the door. Preventing it to make any sound that could awake her. I silently walk towards her bed and sit beside her. I stare at her for awhile and caress her cheek. I planted kisses on her forehead and cheek and stood up. But before I could take a step Tiffany awake.

"Khun?"

She almost whispered. I looked back at her. Tiffany immediately get up.

"Hey, you should go back to sleep".

" Mmm..But, will you leave again?"

I smiled at her and give her a quick kiss on the lips.

"No. I'll go to my room now"

She just noded her head and laid back on her bed. While I'm standing there Watching her while closing her eyes. I went out and went directly to their guestroom.

Everyone's running so fast. A smoke comes from nowhere. Shouting. Yelling. Red. What's this red?

"Nichkhun!!"

That voice. Tiffany. I search for that voice. I can't hardly walk. Why is it so hard to walk?

"Tiffany!!"

It's a chaos. So many people running. Where's Tiffany. I need to find her.

"K-Khunnie"

Almost a whisper. There she is!!! I was stunned. I can't move.  No..Tiffany..

What's happening?

Then a gun shot.

Days passed by so fast and now is the school festival. I'm on my way to the soccer field holding foods that I bought for Tiffany and me. She's been very busy this days preparing for later performance. And we're also busy monitoring the ground. The Campus will be open for everyone who wants to join  the ending of the school festival which means it will not be safe for them.

"Boo"

Tiffany turned to me and smiled. I went next to her and show her the foods that I bought.

"Done practice?"

I ask and quickly give a kiss on the cheek that made her blush.

"Y-Yeah"

I smirk. We start eating and I can't help but smile. This will always be my favorite view. Then I remember that dream again.  What was that mean?? Red? Tiffany? A gun shot? It really makes me uncomfortable. But no matter what. I will protect her, whatever it cost.

I have this bad feeling.

"Hey, about tonight's event"

She look at me waiting for my word.

"Ahmm.. can you promise me to be safe."

Confuse, she look at me.

"No need to tell me that Khunnie."

"Good"

I sigh. And continue to eat though I'm not really in the mood to eat.

"Why?"

I lifted my head up and met her curious gaze. Hiding my thoughts with a smile, I mess her hair.

"Nothing."
