(Loki X Nebula) We Love Hating Each Other

Midgard

 CHAPTER SIX: MIDGARD

 After some convincing from Gro, we went through some teleportation, called the Bi-Frost in which we took to go to Midgard. To my surprise, and utter disappointment, it was just earth, birth home of the idiot, Quill.

 “Is this supposed to be it?” Gro asked, she was dressed in a black work dress with black heels on, Thor dressed in normal street clothes, same as I, back in my human formed illusion, while Loki wore a black formal suit. We all stood in front of, what used to be a elderly home called: Shady Acres care home.

“This place makes me feel weirdly depressed,” I state, “I swear I left him right here” Loki says, all of us watching as a machine threw in destroyed remains of the building, “did you, though?” Gro asked, Thor looks to his brother, “where, where exactly? Right here on the sidewalk, or right where that building is being demolished? Great planning.” “Bravo,” I say, sarcasm in both our tones, “you are a horrible person,” Gro says eating ice cream.

I was wondering where and when the hell she had time to get that. “How was I supposed to know? Can't see into the future. I'm not a witch” he argued, Thor tilts his head, “no? Then why do you dress like one?” Gro snorts, as I chuckle. Loki examines himself before getting defensive, “Hey!”

Gro then looked herself, “wait- ” “not you Lady Gro, you look fabulous” Thor says with a smile.

“Fabulous” Loki says highly in mockery, I hit his arm.

“I can't believe you're alive,” he says, “shame” Gro says licking ice cream, “and you could've had a bad bitch” she whispered to him fiercely, “but now you can't have this one.”

  I nod, Gro had a fiery spirit, one that was almost similar to those of terrans, not at all asgardian, she didn't think she was higher than any being just because she lived longer, she admitted that she had flaws, many flaws in fact. She wasn't like Loki, stick up the ass, wasn't like Thor, barging in and destroying things.

“Ask him,” we heard a girl say, I looked over to see two terran women. They had in fact caught all of our attention, Gro looking at them. The girl lets out a nervous giggle, trying to get her device situated, “hi. Would you mind taking a picture with us?” Thor flashes them a smile, “oh, sure.” The girls giggle like a bunch of fangirls, “tramps” Gro muttered.

“You too mystery girl,” one of the women said, Gro and I look to each other, “who are you- ?” My arm was grabbed firmly, as I was huddled into the photo. Thor gave Loki a pointed look, “start figuring out where he is,” he then smiled for the picture. Everyone holding up bunny ears while I just flipped the birds, the camera clicks.

“Oh my God,” one of the girls exclaimed in her fangirling excitement, “sorry to hear Jane dumped you” one of the girls said. Loki and Gro looked interested in that sentence, me, I was just standing there wondering who the fuck was Jane? “but at least you have the mystery girl,” one of the girls says, “my name is Nebula” I state to her.

“Okay, you got Neb- u- la,” she sing-song walking away with her friend, “she didn't dump me, you know. I dumped her. It was a mutual dumping,” Thor tried to explain as the girls walked further away.

“They're not a thing” Gro and Loki yell at the same time, “they aren't- ” “they are not a thing- ” “not for each other- ” “not at all.” Gro and Loki had said off of each other, me and Thor looking at them like they were on drugs. Gro waves it off, “you don't want that out there,” “be a horrible rumor” Loki added.

I tilt my head, “are you jeal- ” “no” Loki stated loudly, almost if yelling at me. I was about to retaliate with harsh words to make this grown man cry. However, the thing that stopped me was a bright rimming circle around Loki’s feet. I stepped to him, “what do you think you're doing?” Loki looks at us, “this isn't me.”
