Doragon looked so helpless. He was shaking terribly. The thing he must've been battling had 8 legs and the thing had a stinger on its back.
"Father please!" The spider smacked Doragon in the side. He nearly missed the stinger but felt some pain. Why am I seeing this? He tried to run only to get pushed back. "Father please! Take it away!" He didn't. The spider hissed at him. Doragon tried to get past the guards only to get hit in the face. Blood flew from his mouth and he fell to the ground.
He coughed as he got up. "Doragon, in order to get out of this," He said. "You need to defeat it in battle. You need to kill it." Kill? "Will it stop after I do?" He nodded. He stood his ground and struck at the creature only to get knocked aside. Is that what happened to Doragon as a child? The Choten did this to him? The creature hissed. Doragon looked it with terror in his eyes. He attacked the spider again only to get stung in the chest. He shook violently and growls deeply. "I will kill." He mumbles. "Kill..." I felt it as well. Different in nature yet somehow the same. No, we are not the same! Not like this! He kept mumbling the word kill for sometime when he got up staring at it with his yellow eye.
"Kill. I need to kill it!" He snarls. Doragon charged the creature creating a sonic bark pushing it back. The Choten smiled. He was getting what he wanted. A killing machine with no mercy. He struck knowing that it was dazed. He went for the stinger and tore it off. Then he went for the eyes. Only blinding it. He was about to kill it when the creature died on the spot and disappeared. Doragon actually killed it? What did the Choten do to make him like this? He clapped at what he has seen. "Good job Doragon. Very well done." Doragon smiled at his master. The blood from the creature on his lips.
"I did it! I killed it!" He laughed. "Just like you wanted!" The Choten smiled. "I see. Do you know about your sister? The one that was recently born?" He asked. Doragon dropped his smile and said "All have perished. She did as well." "No, she didn't, she is indeed alive. And well." "What?" That's when the premonition faded. Was he talking about me? I woke to feel the grass beneath me. I was in my wolf form. Did I fall asleep? I looked to see that Tatsurion was still on his back. Probably asleep as well. He woke up and yawned a little. "Good to see that you are awake." I saw Jane and Malcolm sitting by me. I turned human since I didn't have the collar. "What happened?" I asked. "You fell asleep and we didn't want to wake you." "How long was I out," I asked. "About 47 minutes," Malcolm responds. "Why did you ingest them? A dosage like that could kill you!" Jane asked Tatsurion. "He was talking to someone," He said. "He dropped the bag after he said, "I'll do it. I'll drug her then I will pull the trigger. Yeah I know, two shots to the brain. I gotta hurry or someone will see!" Then he stopped talking and I attacked him after he broke the lock to the vault. I took the bag away from him but something hit my side and I accidentally swallowed it." Why would you put it in your mouth? "Then I tried to find you and the others." He looked at me while saying it. "I felt ill and I could barely move and I felt tired. I didn't know why." "Why the library?" Malcolm asked. "I heard that she was in there most of the time to practice or study." Malcolm made an 'I told you something was there' face with a goofy smile. I had the urge to punch him for it. He must've seen and backed up. "You tried to warn me?" Tatsurion nodded. "For whatever reason, he was trying to get rid of you is unknown to me. Yet I couldn't let it happen." I sighed. He keeps saving me from dangers I don't know about. What the hell? "Thank you Tatsurion. And do yourself a favor and don't eat unknown substances or foods. Also, don't put them in your mouth." "What about smells?" Malcolm asked. We all looked at him. "Ok, not the time." Master Chavez came back to talk to us about what happened. "I suggest that it would be safer if you had someone with you at certain times to avoid this happening again." "Maybe Tatsurion can watch over her, after all, he isn't banishing to the fire realm." "That is considerable, but he is indeed big and may draw attention," Jane said. She is right. "So what do we do?" "We discussed some things and like for all of you to come with me." We all looked at him. "What?" We went to the master's meeting room. It was a slab table with chairs to their designated realm. We were nervous and excited. I was most anxious. They activated their gloves and that represented a realm. The mana flows through each of our gloves and turned them into our designated realms. Mine was the fire realm, Malcolm's was darkness and Jane was water. We did it. We are actually gonna become duel masters! "Now we must hurry." Say what? They elected us to be Duel masters and now they said we have to go somewhere, now? "Where are we going?" I asked. "We heard of issues in the nature realm. Mainly the Quillspike tribe." What's a Quillspike? I figured I might ask him. I came back to Tatsurion still in his position. He looked like he was sleeping too. I tapped his armor and he didn't seem to care. I sat by him and he didn't do anything. He just lay there and he was slowly breathing. He was slightly moving as if having a bad dream. I started singing "A Hero Comes Home" from the movie Beowulf to ease his nerves.

He was so calm after I finished. "Wow." I heard someone sigh. I saw Jane and Malcolm. I felt the heat rising to my cheeks. "I didn't know you can sing." I heard Tatsurion shuffle a little bit. He rolled onto his stomach and sighed. "I think he likes it," Malcolm whispered. "What other songs do you know?" I was pretty much embarrassed by this. "Why is she blushing?" "Will you shut up?!" "Sorry, but I never knew you can sing," Malcolm said. "And beautifully." I kept blushing. I don't exactly sing in front of other people. I thought about it and looked it up on my phone. "Day of Destiny by Erutan." "Dragon Nest? Seriously?" I thought about the lyrics and started singing, hoping the masters didn't hear me.

When I finished, Tatsurion shifted a little. He was in a deep sleep. "He definitely likes it," Malcolm whispered. We laughed softly. Does he actually like my singing? Don't they have music where he's from?
