"The Shield of Unity is the only way now." They said. "Sadly, no Quillspike has never won the competition." Nature civilization holds a competition for the Shield. "So anyone can join the competition?" I asked. "Only those of the nature civilization can enter," Prickleback answered. "Well, Ōkami is half nature. Maybe she can enter?" Master Chavez looked at Malcolm in disbelief. So did I. "I doubt your friend is capable. Judging from her size, they will either defeat or kill her." One of them said. Jane told them that it was true that I can enter but due to everything it would be difficult. Tatsurion spoke out and said. "I will compete, on 1 condition." I had a feeling about the offer. "You never call me that name again." I smiled at his gruffness. "I will also compete," I said. Master Chavez gave me a look to make sure that I was serious. "It's either this or wait for that rock muncher to come back for seconds." He nodded. "I will stay here to keep watch. Jane, you mind staying with me and gargle to make sure it doesn't return." Jane nodded. "I'll accompany Ōkami and Tatsurion. Besides who else will vouch for them when they try to enter?" Malcolm said. Just as the plan was made. Malcolm tried to get on Tatsurion's back. "Be careful." Jane hugged me. "I will. Same with you." I got on his back and gave Malcolm a hand. "How are you able to get on his back with ease? I can't even get a grip." I smirked. "Maybe because of muscle." He scowled at me. Tatsurion ran through forests of tall plants that reached heights of skyscrapers. I couldn't help but be amazed. I saw other creatures grazing and some looked at us in curiosity. Malcolm had a hard time hanging on. When Tatsurion jumped down certain areas we would jump too and land on his armor. I kinda enjoyed it. I managed to hang on while Malcolm told him "We don't have strong grips as you do! Can you slow down a bit?!" I couldn't hold back a laugh. I haven't felt this free in ages. Like everything that hurts was replaced with something else. Excitement? Joy? Whatever it was it felt good. I can tell Malcolm didn't enjoy it. When Tatsurion stopped. Malcolm and I couldn't believe what we were looking at.
