I thought about what she said. "Even the strongest can fall. Rich or poor, everything can be harmed and die." I knew she was right. It is possible. We aren't immortal. We aren't invulnerable to everything. I closed my eyes and thought of nothing to finally get some sleep. I woke to feel something soft beneath me. I got up to feel what looked like grass. I was surrounded by a vast number of trees and they grew over a hundred feet. "Wow!" I breathe. It was beautiful. I saw large insect-like creatures, some huge, some small, flying around. There was exotic plant life that I never saw. I kept walking when I saw a view that took my breath away. There were rock structures that had holes in them but they still stand. Large trees that stood taller than redwood trees.
Large roots sprouting out of the ground. And a huge river with a small waterfall clashed through the cavern. The sun was setting, I could actually stay here forever. I saw a herd of rhino-like creatures with large horns on their nose. They also had large side horns on its shoulders.
They kept grazing without a care in the world. Out of nowhere a large claw came down and snatched one of them into a portal. I can hear its cries as it was taken away. "No!" I yelled. The herd ran away from the hook and didn't stop. It came down again and grabbed me. Before I can see what happened, I woke up. I was covered in cold sweat. "Its just a dream," I told myself. "Its just a dream." I walked downstairs to grab a water or something to cool me down. I looked at the time. It was 2:25 a.m. I knew that I wasn't going to sleep anytime soon. I decided to investigate the barn again. I know, its stupid. But I need to know. This time in a disguise. I walked outside and turned into a wolf. I walked slowly to the barn and looked for another entrance or exit. I saw a small hole, which was my size. I crawled through and waited for my eyes to adjust to the darkness. I didn't see anything, nor hear. I assumed whatever was here before left so it wouldn't be disturbed. "Hello?" I whisper. Nothing responded. I heard a weird hissing sound and saw a large lizard man with sharp arm blades and black to red armor, attacking a wolf creature that looked like a werewolf to me but parts of it was green and had a braid. It slashed at the werewolf thing and it faded to a pile of flowers and leaves. I snuck out the other way hoping not to get spotted but something grabbed me by the scruff of my neck. "Shouter found a witness." It was a elephant-like creature. It stood like a man and had a loin cloth like underwear with small sculls applied to it. A fat man wearing green robes came towards me. He smiled. "Shouter, that is a wolf." I snarled and kept thrashing so it could let go. "Smell human-like Master Kimora." He looked at me closely. "It probably belongs to the woods Mighty Shouter. It must've been hunting." Mighty Shouter I presume, put me down and one look at them. I dashed to the house without stopping. I think I have enough investigating for now. "Or maybe I have mistaken?" The man said. "No bull dude!" I howled.
