Rose was the first to The cornucopia surprising the careers greatly. She grabbed her weapons the As quick as she was there she slit the throat of the boy from 2 that tried to kill her and was gone into the forest.
She shimmied up the nearest tree and examined the backpack she stole. It was filled with food and knifes...even a sword! 3 full bottles of water. She was set for a couple of days of hiding in the trees and jumping from one to another.

She gently sat down on a branch so as not to make any noise and securely tied herself to the tree (It's going to be a bit like Katniss's however this is where she got the inspiration from to do this in the games as it had a forest like this one but slightly smaller for Katniss)
However as she got comfortable she heard the careers prowling around and thanked the gods that she had chosen a tree with long draped leaves that hid her from sight and that the branch she chose was quite high!
She heard them discussing the painful ways they would kill her. However instead of scaring her it made her way more eager to prove them wrong that she would be an easy kill.
10 people out of 24 died in the bloodbath that day so she mourned for their deaths in her own way.

The later the games continued the more people died.
On the second day 3 people were killed.
On the third only 1.
The 4th Rose killed the girl from district 2 and the boy from 4.
On the 5th day they was down to the final 8. When they spoke to her family in district 11 it made the capitals hearts ache at how scared they were for the girl and how they would do anything to bring her back.

On the 6th day 4 people were murdered.
District 1 lost both of their tributes.
District 4 lost their girl.
District 3 lost their boy.

Only district 3's girl, District 5's boy and District 7's girl remained.
It was a very fierce battle in the end.
They was all rounded up to the cornucopia where they sliced and hacked at each other. District 7 fell first. Then District 3. It was an intense battle between District 5 and district 11.
District 5 -aka Damon - stabbed Rose in the stomach which shocked everyone. They all thought the angel was going to die until she stood up on her feet, with a sword sticking into the front of her stomach and out the back and slit his throat before collapsing on the ground.

The Districts and the capital was amazed at how someone so young stood on her feet with a severe injury and managed to kill someone.

This girl was strength, sacrifice, love and hope all in one. What nobody realised was that Rose just lit the first spark of the rebellion.

Everyone was pleased to see the victor. Especially Finnick who secretly helped her gain sponsors and helped her get things that turned out to be a crucial part of her survival.

No matter how happy everyone was when Rose returned home, nobody could beat innocent and angel like Rue in happiness that she survived.
