Was It Love....

Chapter 1

The flashback.......

Siya had been a sensitive girl during her school days, a shy girl who had not many friends. Avni and Kiran were her two best friends. The three of them shared many fun memories, including those about their crushes that most of their friends didn't know.........

Siya used to like a boy in school. Actually she didn't just like him, she was literally mad for him. Even though she knew he could never be interested in a girl like her, she still was into him for almost like two years. His name was Harsh, a tall boy, attractive features and great physique. He was the aspiration of many girls, Siya being one of them. What attracted most girls towards him were his eyes, which were the perfect combination of green and yellow, the eyes that anyone would love to get lost in. Being so popular among girls, it was but obvious that Harsh was filled with attitude. He was not someone who would be an ideal boyfriend. He was a kind of playboy, and Siya knew everything about him and his relationships. Even though, she still liked him.

Siya and Harsh had been friends once, but Harsh began avoiding her when he got aware of Siya having a crush on him. She knew the fact that when Harsh would know, this would happen. But, it could have been avoided if things wouldn't have been the way they happened.

Siya wanted to confess her feelings to Harsh but she never got the confidence to tell him. She feared that Harsh would stop talking to her. And yeah, that turned out to be true. All thanks to Kiran, who wanted to help Siya, but ended up hurting her. She told Harsh about Siya's feelings and tried to convince him. Kiran did so because she was worried for Siya and wanted to help her. The whole scene was unintentional, but somehow circumstances did not favor Siya. Instead of Harsh coming closer to her, he went away from her. Nothing could have been changed. What had happened had happened, and Siya had to accept the reality.

Siya and Harsh did not speak with each other for a year after that incident. Siya didn't want to worsen things and Harsh just did not care. Siya's first love eventually turned into one-sided love. She understood what it was like to love unconditionally and get nothing but ignorance in return.  

A ray of hope shone when finally a year's silence broke. Harsh was not angry with her anymore. Things seemed to be getting back to normal. 10th standard brought many new things, many changes with it. Harsh had changed, not completely, but he seemed to have taken studies seriously....... Siya had decided to leave the thoughts of Harsh and concentrate on her 10th as that was much more important.

" If he doesn't care, why should I...... " Siya was convincing herself. Kiran and Avni were happy to see that Siya was getting over Harsh. Siya was trying to forget him, but fate had some other plans.........
