A few weeks after the breakup, Karan called Siya, to clear up everything between them because he knew Siya was not someone who would easily forgot everything.
Karan : " Hey listen... I want to clear everything once and for all."
Siya : " What's wrong with you? "
Karan : " Nothing. "
Siya : " Then why are you doing this........ "
Karan : " Cos I don't like you anymore...... And please stop trying.... I know you're not over it yet..... I've moved on..... Please you too...... Please.... "
Siya was unable to say anything. She was standing numb trying to process whatever she had just heard.
Karan : " Siya I'm really sorry... I know you are hurt, but I can't continue this relationship further.... "
Karan disconnected the call and Siya dropped to her knees. Tears fell on to the ground. The sun was setting, light breeze flowing, everything was reminding her of Karan. How could she just forget a five month relationship like nothing. But now that she had to, Siya collected herself and stood up. She could not be like that anymore. She had to go home, she had her life in front of her. Siya told herself that Karan was not her life, he was just a part of it.....
That decision was something that Siya would always be proud of. She had stopped asking, rather bothering about Karan now that about two months had passed. She felt it was more important to focus on what was ahead rather than dwelling in the past.
Siya busied herself in studies now that she bunked less. She would meet Avni and Kiran occasionally, but eventually due to their schedules which would never match, it also reduced.
Six months passed, and Siya had learned to enjoy her life without Karan. But Karan still had a place in her heart, which she would never let anyone know. Besides, it didn't matter anymore. Siya was happy with her college and studies. Her new friends often reminded Siya of her school group. Priya, Ankita, Janvi, Varun and Sid were her new lot. Their presence never let Siya think about Karan. But the mind often wanders. First it was Harsh, then came Karan, and now her heart had laid eyes on someone new.........
