Chapter 14

Siya had travelled with Sameer even earlier, but this was different. Both walked on Marine lines, holding hands. Siya could feel herself smiling, walking beside Sameer. They came to a halt at a place where not many people were there and perched on the rocks facing the sea.

The water was beautiful, the weather was perfect. Light monsoon winds blowing, indicating the possibility of rain. Siya rested her head on Sameer's shoulder and Sameer took her into a side hug. Siya didn't care what was around her, for it was just Sameer that she cared as of now. A few moments later, tiny droplets of water began falling. " I hope you have an umbrella, cos I don't have one. " Sameer asked turning towards her. Siya looked at him and before she could speak, got lost in his eyes. It seemed as though they were having a conversation through eyes. But their sweet romance was interrupted by the rain. Siya took out her umbrella and handed it to Sameer. He pulled her closer to make sure she didn't get wet. Sameer looked at Siya who was really enjoying the rain. He took her chin and turned her head towards him. Before Siya knew anything, a pair of lips landed onto hers. She was half surprised. But she did not oppose and kissed him back. It was a short but sweet kiss. Siya's cheeks turned pink when they pulled away. It was a perfect afternoon for Siya. An afternoon that she'd never forget. It was the time when someone belonged to her. It was a time when after a long time she got the same feeling she had lost with Karan.........

But for how long was this going to last again. Future held something for her, something that made the present day Siya........
