Was It Love....

Chapter 4

Many things did change after the school trip. It was a 5-day tour to Hyderabad. All the students of 10th had been looking forward to this trip. Hyderabad tour was a lit topic, not only among the students, but also among the teachers.

At past the day arrived that they had been waiting for eagerly. There was a sense of enthusiasm and excitement all over the train compartment where the students were there. Siya spent quite a lot time with Karan during the trip. Many of their friends suspected that there was something between them, but both denied the comments by clearing that there was nothing more than friendship. The fact was that both their hearts said something else. Both enjoyed each other's company and liked to be together. But none of them wished to admit it. Karan knew how much Siya liked Harsh, and would never want to hurt his best friend. And Siya was unsure about her feelings for Karan. She was confused between Harsh and Karan. She was slowly falling for Karan, but she was still obsessed with Harsh. And also, Siya and Karan's friendship was a really special one which she did not want to loose at the cost of a relationship. Hence she preferred to keep her feelings to herself.

Hyderabad trip was a memorable one for everyone. All had enjoyed very much. Kiran, Siya and Avni had the best time of their life. They spent the most happy moments with each other. The five days flew so quickly that no one noticed when the time to return arrived. Everyone bore in their hearts the sweet memories of the trip which they would cherish for life.

The trip feaver vanished soon when they realized that their final exams were up in almost a month. All got serious about studies. Siya and Karan used to study together sometimes. She loved to be with him. Harsh's place in Siya's heart was slowly being taken over by Karan. But Siya didn't want to think about that as her exams were of greater importance to her at that point.

Exams came and went like always, but this exam was of more importance than the others. All the students were relieved when exams ended. Siya was confident about her papers, Avni was not sure, and Kiran had no hopes at all. But they were happy at least it was over.

Avni, Kiran and Siya spent a lot of time together during the vacations as they had nothing else to do. Everything was like usual until May. May month brought with it a change in Siya's life.......
