"Don't worry, I won't," I said as he softly smiled and headed to the big doors. "See you at work Jefferson." He said as he shut the door. "My name is L/N-...HEY!!!" I yelled as I stepped forward to give him a peace of my...Actually a lot of my mind!

I gasped in all the air I could and shot up. I looked around and saw the dark blue shine over my living room. I panicked as I looked out the window to see it was late at night. I scurried up and landed on the floor while trying to stand. I groaned as I rubbed my head and looked around again.

"What...Happened?" I asked myself as I pushed myself up. I saw that the balcony door was open. The fresh air danced inside and tickled my legs as I frowned. I slowly walked towards the balcony and spotted someone standing there.

It was one of the guys, that was for sure. He was leaning on the cold metal rails, looking at the stars in the sky. My eyes landed on his grey suit as I slowly walked towards him.

"Hey Madison," I greeted as I leaned next to him. "You know," He started as he kept looking at the sky. "It's funny," He scoffed as I looked at him. "When you were back in our time, you didn't let anyone tell you what to be or not to be," He smiled as he looked at me. "You knew what you wanted," He explained. "And what you didn't want," He sighed as he frowned again and looked back at the sky.

"How come Alexander seduced you that easily?" He asked as I widened my eyes but frowned at the same time. "How did you-"

"All you need is some smooth talking with the one person Alexander trusts the most," James hissed as I looked at the rails.

"Have you seen Alexander?" I asked as he nodded. "He woke up Laurens and asked to talk in private outside the room," Lafayette told me as I kept cutting deeper in the ropes.

"John," I breathed out. "Bingo," He sneered as I looked back at James. "Y/N, I don't know what you're trying to do," James started as he let go off the railing. "But whatever it is," He continued. "If you hurt Thomas," He hissed as he grabbed my collar and brought me close to his face. "You and I are gonna have problems," He whispered as he looked me dead in the eye. I nodded.

He let go of my collar. "He's my best friend," James started as he walked to the balcony doors. "I've been through all his sh*t," He explained as he looked at his hand. "I've been there when he wanted to rant about you," He chuckled. "I've been there when you cheated on him," He winced as I looked at him with pain in my eyes. "And one thing is for sure," He stated.

"The guy is head over heels for you," He told me as I looked at my hands.

"You do what you want to do," He stated as I looked up at him with glassy eyes. "Just try not to hurt him," James finished and headed back inside. He closed the balcony doors, leaving them unlocked and closed the curtains.

My eyes were wide as silent tears prickled in them. I shot my distressed glare towards the sky as it seemed to look away from me. Clouds began to form and block most of the stars making the sky duller and duller.

But the moon was dead-eyed staring at me.

"I-It's not my fault!" I told the sky as I backed into the glass doors. My hands were shaking, as were my legs and arms. "I didn't do anything wrong!" I called out as I looked at my hands. "It wasn't even me..." I shakily told myself.

"I-...I!" I cried as I landed on my knees and began to cry in my hands. "I never wanted this!" I cried as tears poured out my eyes. I sat down and leaned against the cold, metal rails and hugged my knees.

The cold wind dried my cheeks but couldn't take away the tear tracks on my stained cheeks. I slowly began to drift back into a daze and fell asleep as the cold night wrapped its arms around me.

The next morning I awoke with someone looking at me. I couldn't make out the face as I blinked a few times. But after a while, I could make out the black hair and the shaved side on the side of his head. "Lee?" I asked still a bit sleepy. "You awake?" He asked as I blinked a few times more. "I don't...Know..." I truthfully answered as he scoffed.

He then proceeded to smack me across the face. I fell to the side and used my elbow to prevent my face from getting a morning kiss from the cement.

"EY!" I yelled as I jerked my face towards Lee. "What'd we learn?" He asked as he stood up and rubbed his head on his pants.

I grumbled and raised myself up. "The guys stole from a bakery and got some bread," Lee explained as I widened my eyes. "They did what?!" I asked as Charles shrugged me off. "Don't worry!" He reassured with a smirk. "They put on these glasses with black glasses and wore those black winter coats in your closet!" He told me as I used the door frame to hit my head on it.

"Tell me why they thought that that was a good idea!" I hissed as Charles shrugged. "Lafayette found baguettes and they went after him," He explained as we walked into the kitchen. Everyone was sitting on the table, eating a piece of bread.

"WHY?!" I asked as they all looked at me. "Because we can," John answered with a smile. "You can't-" I stopped mid-sentence to analyze the stupidity. "You can't steal!" I told them. "We had no option! The only 2 options we had was to mess up this kitchen or steal." Hercules smiled. I twitched my eyes.

"I-"

"Just sit down and appreciate that we made breakfast," Samuel interrupted me as I was about to debunk their bullsh*t. I sighed and sat down and grabbed a piece of bread.

"This is stupid," I groaned as they all smiled at me.
