"Caught in a storm?" I asked Robin as I handed him a cup of hot tea. We settled him down on the couch. I had to dump Alexander and Thomas into a room so they would stop hissing at Robin.
But don't worry. (Reader: Oh?)
James and John are in there too.
I looked outside. It was supposed to be sunny today. I know it's supposed to be sunny today because I've lived to see this day at least 500 times. Yet it was pouring outside. Literal buckets of water.
"So unfortunate, I was supposed to meet Lin Manuel Miranda today," Robin sighed, sliding down a few loose blue curls into the wet mess that was his hair. "I'm going to Lin today," I smiled and sat down next to him. Hercules gave us a glance from his chair before flipping the page of his newspaper and reading once again.
"You work with him, right?" He asked as he tilted his head to the side. "Yes, actually. You stumbled into the right block," I smiled but as I said that, I started to frown. "Who told you that I live here?" I asked. "So I was supposed to meet Lin today for a business meeting but it started to rain too hard to even see where I was going. I called Lin and he told me that a certain 'Y/N L/N' lived nearby and that she would probably let me in," Robin quickly explained before sipping from his tea.
"Uh-huh,"
How in the name of hell, didn't he freak out when he saw Alexander? Or why in the name of God didn't he say anything when he saw the others? Why isn't he questioning any of this?
"So we're both talking about Lin Manuel Miranda, right?" I asked.
"Yes."
"Uh-huh."
Okay. Call me crazy. Is this an interdimensional cop? Is this dude supposed to be a savior? Is he supposed to be someone to screw me over?
"Robin, you can stay until the sky is clear. But you're going to have to stay in your guest room. This is your hotel, not your home," I told him. He seemed slightly annoyed. "Come on Y/N," He chuckled. "You're the OBC Y/N Jefferson. This is like meeting anyone from the Original Broadway Cast!" He smiled.
"No," I refused. "I'm flattered that you like the show but I want my privacy. Leave me and the others alone," I said before standing up. "Follow me," I sighed. He seemed even more annoyed but set down his teacup down and stood up.
Better safe than sorry.
"Here's the guest room," I said and opened the door. "You can stay here for a few hours-"
"ALEXANDER NO!" John yelled as Alexander hissed at him. Alexander was hanging out of the window. John tried to pull him back inside and James was frozen on the spot. "HAMILTON! YOU PIECE OF ABSOLUTE-" I heard Thomas shriek coming from outside of the window.
"We're just going to close that," I sighed, cocking my eyebrow.
"Change of plans, you're going to reside in the bathroom," I told Robin. "What?" He asked with a panicking smile. "Calm down, it's fine. We have 2 bathrooms, no one will bother you," I reassured him as I opened the door of the bathroom.
"Make yourself at home. It'll be for an hour or so," I sighed as I left him alone and ran to the guestroom. "YO, HAMLET! OFF!" I yelled as I tore the door open. Alexander hissed at me.
Robin's P.O.V
As soon as Y/N disappeared into the room I sneered. "A bathroom. Great," I grunted and tore the door open. The bathroom was a mess. I groaned. Is this the girl who tore open the universe? Seriously? She can't even keep a bathroom clean.
Wet towels were scattered on the floor, clothes seemed to be tossed around and the sink was a mess. Water was rising and lowering like it was living. The water inside the sink was grey. I shook my head. I snapped my fingers and walked to the toilet so I could at least sit.
The towels wrung the left over water out and neatly hung themselves on the rack. The clothes organized themselves by person and color. The dirty water in the sink rose up for the last time before it disappeared into the sewage.
"Easy," I smiled and sat back on the cover of the toilet seat. Soon my smile faded and I went into thought. She obviously doesn't trust me. I don't have the time of the world. Soon, the headmaster is going to find out that I'm not in my room. Then they'll go to Alver, or satan whatever, and they are going to kill me.
"Alexander!" I heard from the guest room. I stood up and put my ear against the door so I could listen into their conversation. "I swear to God," It was Y/N.
"Y/N, you put me in the same 7 cubic meters as Jefferson! What do you expect me to do?" Alexander argued back. Y/N tried to say something but obviously, she fell into a stumble. Then I heard a sob. "I can't do it. I can't handle you and Thomas and-" She sobbed. I frowned.
Mental breakdown.
"Hey," Alexander cooed. "Okay, I'll stop talking to Jefferson and just ignore him," He reassured her. A few whispers fell into Y/N ears but they weren't loud enough for me to hear through the door.
"Okay," Y/N sighed. I slowly walked away from the door as I heard footsteps approach. "Robin," I heard as the door opened. Y/N stood on the other side, Alexander right behind her. I gave Alexander a long stare. He stared back at me.
"The guestroom is free," She informed me. Her eyes were red. Her cheeks were flushed. Something went down between the two of them. Something Jefferson wouldn't be very fond of. But Y/N has already lost grip of reality so I don't think she cares that much anymore. Will this be a resume of attempt number 1?
"Thank you," I kindly said. Y/N glanced at the window in the living room. It was still raining. How unfortunate. For her. Not for me. I made it rain.
No, I didn't do a rain dance.
I'm an almighty being.
(Author: Lies.)
And it's going to keep raining until I crack Y/N's mind open and put my message into her head. This message will make the cycle end. The headmaster told me that I was dead as soon as the cycle ended. Y/N would be put back into heaven with Jefferson.
So.
Presume Y/N ends the cycle. But she does it...In a not so normal way.
A way that will make me the innocent one and her the crime.
What will the others think of the headmaster when they try to kill me?
I smiled at Y/N before leaving the bathroom and heading into the guestroom. I gave Y/N one last glance. She was looking at me like she knew something was wrong with me, but she didn't know what it was.
I smiled at her before closing the door.
"Let the war begin,"
