"Is your leg feeling better?" I asked as I knelt next to Thomas and looked at his knees. "...I guess it doesn't feel that bad," He shrugged with a soft smile. I put my hand on his knee and softly tapped on it. He winced a bit. "It's been a while since it happened. Maybe it's worse than I think it is..." I sighed as he shook his head. "I'll be fine Y/N, don't worry," He smiled as I sighed. "But-"

"Y/N. I'm fine," He reassured as he put his hand on top of mine. We made eye contact as he looked at me. I quickly broke it by looking at the ground. "I...I-erm..." I stumbled as I rose back on my feet. "I need to erm-...I need to go," I stuttered as I looked at the ground and speed walked away.

I slapped my cheek softly as I took a deep breath in and out. I walked towards my room when I noticed silent talking coming from there. I frowned as I looked at my closed door. I gently put my ear on the door and listened in to the conversation.

"-I'll give you 10 dollars if you do it," I heard John state. "That's not worth it," I heard Alexander argue back. "It is! Because you'll be more with what you've done than with the money you've earned with it," John countered. "Still doesn't seem worth it," Alexander cringed as I heard the dismay in his tone.

I frowned in confusion but kept listening.

"Remind me again, John," Alexander sighed. "Why aren't you doing it?" He inquired. "Because you love me?" John tried as a smile began to tug at my lips. 'So Lams exists,' I thought as a smirk began to tug on my face.

"John," Alexander warned. "Okay, damn," John grumbled.

'And there goes the dream,' I silently exhaled.

"Fine, since you're too pussy..." Alexander sighed after a while. "I'll take that," John stated a smirk laced on his face. "But why?" Alexander asked. "You know why. I explained it to you after my suicide attempt," John explained as I began to frown.

"Okay, okay, social anxiety and all that crap," Alexander assured as I heard footsteps nearing the door. "Sh*t" I exhaled as I naruto sprinted away from the door. I ran inside the kitchen, sat next to Lee who cocked an eyebrow at me, grabbed a newspaper page and began to intensely look at it. "The f*ck do you think you are doing-"

"SHSHSHHSHt!" I hissed at him as John and Alexander promenaded inside the kitchen. "Hey Y/N," John called as Lee looked over his shoulder to face the 2. He then looked back at me holding the newspaper upside down and smirked.

"Yes," I stated quickly as I put the newspaper down on the table. "Alexander's gotta ask you something," John continued as he pointed his thumb at Alexander. "R-Really," I croaked, tripping over my words as I tried to play it off.

"I'll leave you two alone," John stated as he looked at the ground and slowly walked back to the living room where everyone mostly chilled. "Lee, come with me," John hissed at Charles.

Lee shrugged and tagged along. When the door shut, I began to calm down a bit. "So," I asked as Alexander walked to me to sit down next to me.

"What did you want to ask?" I asked as Alexander sighed. "This isn't a question from me," He began which immediately made me frown. "But maybe I was curious about it too," He continued. "And just know that I'll respect whatever you're going to say when I ask you this," He stated as he laid his hand on top of mine. He rubbed his thumb over my hand as my heart rate went through the rooftop.

"You and Thomas," he started as I cursed under my breath.

"What's up with that?" He asked as I tapped my finger on the table. "Well," I croaked and immediately coughed to get my quivering tone out of the picture.

"I don't know," I admitted as he frowned. "Like, sure I've felt a connection," I started as I began to swing my hand around. "And if I were to be Y/N Jefferson, that would mean that I was-" I paused. I exhaled and inhaled. "His wife," I finished my ramblings and let my hand drop on the counter. "And I don't know how I feel about everything," I admitted.

"Just go with your gut," He advised with a cocky smile. "Like you?" I asked with a cocked eyebrow. "Yeah," He smirked as I rolled my eyes. "Aha," I fake-laughed. "It has worked for me so far," He explained further. "I see," I smirked.

"I'm alive right?" He asked as he leaned towards me. "Kinda," I chuckled softly. We silently looked at each other as we softly smiled. Alexander began to lean in.

That's when the door opened.

I put my hand against the back of his head and pushed him past me, face-first into the floor. "Arg," He grunted. "Hey, Y/N," I heard from the door as I turned around fully and looked at the person. It was Hercules.

"This black brick has been making a sound for a while now," He explained as I frowned. "My phone," I exhaled as I walked towards Hercules. "Thank you," I smiled as I grabbed the thin, black phone. I looked at it and I saw that someone had been calling me.

Several times.

"Ai," I sighed as I looked at the caller. "Lin," I exhaled as I called him back. The phone ringed 1 time and he already answered. "Y/N!" He yelled as I jumped. "F*CK LIN!" I yelled back. "Where the hell were you?!" He demanded to know. "The f*ck do you mean?! There isn't any show I should've been attending!" I stated. "My God-" He groaned.

"At rehearsal Y/N, RE-HEAR-SAL!" He stated as my eyes widened. "Oh, sh*t! With the interviewers and everything?" I asked. "Yes!" He yelled as I winced. I inhaled to say something but then exhaled. Tears of frustration threatened to spill. "I'm sorry Lin," I exhaled. He caught the break-down tone immediately.

"What's going on?" He asked me as I looked up to see Hercules leaning against the door frame. "I can't...I can't tell you," I slowly stated.

"Daveed told me you were acting suspicious and that you broke down at the end of yesterday," Lin pointed out. "He's kinda worried," He oozed in.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine," I sighed. "Some friend issues, I'd rather not get into it," I explained as he nodded. "Sure, I get it," He assured me as I smiled. "Thanks, Lin," I smiled. "This won't happened again," I told him. "I hope so," He sighed.

"Believe me, I hope so too," I smiled.

"I'll see you tomorrow," He saluted. "See ya," I saluted as well. I hung up and exhaled deeply. "Okay!" I stated as I regrouped myself.

"Everything is gonna be A-Okay!" I smiled and walked out of the kitchen.

I then proceeded to trip over a book and face-plant onto the floor.

"Alex!" I yelled. "My bad," Alexander apologized from the kitchen.
