Y/n stared blankly at the ceiling in her room, spread out on the bed with a soft blanket on her chest.
She thought of everything that had happened the past three years, and back to how it all started. The sound of keys jingling followed by a click immediately caught y/n's attention. Two guards entered her cell. She feared the worst, quickly throwing her legs off the rough bed and stood up.
"Is it time?" she asked them.
"No, not yet." someone else responded as a third man appeared behind the two guards. They took a step to the side and let him through. Y/n was surprised from what she saw.
"Mr Stark."
She quirked an eyebrow.
"So, you're not here to take me to the injection room?"
"Depends on if you cooperate,
miss l/n.""You know me?"
Tony chuckled and slowly paced around the cell completely relaxed.
Y/n didn't move, only followed him with her eyes."I know a lot of things about you, and what you're capable of is just.. wow. I mean taking on a God on your own, that's not easy. Believe me I know."
Y/n looked at him in suspicion with narrowed eyes, ignoring the memories. The billionaire simply straightened his tie and cleared his throat.
"I'm impressed by your skills. I mean personally I'm a fan of how well you aim with a gun, not to mention your speed."
"I never miss."
"I know you don't."
Y/n scowled and tilted her head to the side, watching the billionaire lean against the wall.
"I'm looking for people with talents. Special talents. You see, I'm kind of in a pickle with the government, problems with making Cap sign a p-"
"What does this have to do with me? You here to use me?"
"I'm here to offer you a deal. You accept and I'll make sure every sentence you have disappears."
Y/n was suddenly interested and sat down on the bed, the springs creaking as she did. The female glanced at the guards who hadn't moved an inch.
"I'll go free?"
"Not necessarily, instead- maybe over time- you will become an Avenger. For now though you would become property of SHIELD."
Y/n snorted earning a confused look from Stark. It then turned into a giggle and escalated to a laugh.
"Me? An avenger? Ha! And what do you think the public would think of a 'criminal' such as myself fighting *for* humanity instead of against it?"
"By then you won't be who you are now, or I would never make you an avenger."
Y/n scowled at his response. It striked her how serious he was.
"Plus, if you accept my offer, I'll pay you."
"Oh yeah? How much?"
"Two million."
"Ten."
"Done."
Y/n's eyes widened.
"Wait, really?"
Tony pushed away from the wall without responding and made his way passed the two guards to leave the cell.
