Laid back, I kept on thinking...
that place was wonderland,
and maybe I was just way too happy.
Then you fled.
I exaggerated the way I narrated it--
told myself that
some fair things happened
when it wasn't destined for the moment.
To be for the future, it was meant.
I promise, I didn't mean
to write such prophecy;
the reason why I did
narrate it that way
is because I was...
ready to be hurt.
Laid back, I kept on thinking...

you'll be back where you once stood,
right in front of me, the misread sincerity.
