The rain was falling and so were my eyes. I hated social studies. "Tracy!" My eyes shot open. I must of dozed off. Ponyboy was laughing at me. "Tired?" He chuckled. "Y-Yea this class just bores me." We stood up and walked out of the classroom. Luckily it was the last period of the day. "You and Sarah coming over tonight?" He asked as we reached my locker. "Uhhh I'm not sure I have a lot of homework." "Screw homework!" I laughed at his remark. "We'll see pony!" He ran off as I admired him. Pony was one of my best friends. He's different from most boys. He likes to be alone, read books, watch the sunset and he's wicked smart. We've been friends since I can remember. I shut my locker and met my older sister Sarah outside. Sarah was quite popular for being a greaser. She had long dark hair that she straightened and she was tall and skinny. She was my best friend since she was about the only family I had. Our mom left our family when we were young and my dad has gone crazy since then. He's rarely home but I've learned to live with it. I have the gang to take care of me.
