I woke up the next day with a headache, wanting to miss school again, but I knew I couldn't avoid it forever. I looked in my mirror, the scars on my face smaller but still there and forever will be. My eye becoming more tolerable. I threw on leggings and a long sleeve maroon shirt. I walked to school with Sarah and just let her talk. "Are you ok Tracy?" I awoke from the crazy haze I was in. "Oh yea I'm fine" I saw the school in view and my stomach dropped. I decided I wouldn't make eye contact with anyone and head straight to where I meet the boys. I made it to the boys safely, I was still in some weird dream stage though. The rest of the day went fine, no problems or anything. I shut my locker relieved to go home when I quickly turned around to find Sarah when I ran into an unfamiliar body. "Where are you going greaser" those 5 words that appear in my nightmares, his voice running down my spine in chills. My breathing stopped as I looked into the dark eyes that haunt me. He put his arm against my locker so I felt trapped. "I need to go" I said, my heart racing. He got closer to me so I could see every little detail on his structured face. I looked around and everyone was gone. "You're not going anywhere" his hand moving up and down my leg that was trapped between his. "Stop, please" I whispered. His grip was hard and rough on my inner thigh. I was feeling weak, why did this keep happening to me. "GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY LADY" he let go of me turning around as I fell on the ground beginning to cry. "Your lady? How did you ever get someone to fall for your grease and dirt." "I would back the fuck up if I were you" Dally said getting up close to his face putting his switchblade to the Socs face. He ran it across his cheek leaving a scratch, just to get into his mind. Next thing I knew Dally punched him causing him to fall on the ground. Dally was mad, and you don't make Dally Winston mad. The soc scattered off. Guess he wasn't so tough after all. Ponyboy ran to me first kneeling down next to me while I cried into his shirt. "They won't hurt you know more Tracy and I'm sure of it." But that was all 7 years ago
