Week 1 Arc 3- Friendly Crushes

The next day came, I came to school and saw Senpai. He waved at me so I waved back. Osano is waving too.

"So, good luck with your Chemistry." Senpai just gave me a goodluck OMG! Is this heaven? I surely am floating on clouds.

"T-thanks. And, oh, Osano..." I called Osano out.

"Yeah?"

"Thank you." I said and walked away before my knees will wobble for all those stuff. Senpai noticing me in a good way and Osano being kind to me with the whole tutor thing. It's like, being friendly to rivals...

And since I don't actually have to worry about Osano to steal Senpai since, you know, he can't be attracted to Senpai unless he is gay, and Senpai is actually communicating with me. Like, we're friends...

I could just imagine being friendly with my crush. Or shall I say crushes hehe... I mean, it's not bad to have a crush with another one, one time I got a crush with Budo but let's forget that...

When classes started, I find it easy to cope with my Chemistry thanks to Osano's tutorial. Sensei praised my improvement.

When it was lunch time, once I got out of our classroom I was greeted by Senpai and Osano.

"Hey, wanna have lunch with us?" Senpai invited me. Senpai just invited me!

My knees almost wobble from excitement but I managed to hold on. "U-uh... Sure!" I walked with the two of them.

The truth is, I actually don't have anything to eat. Eating is not even one of my daily routines. Once we're seated at a bench on the rooftop, I just watched them eating food. I sat between Senpai and Osano, BTW.

"You sure you're not hungry?" Osano asked me as he pitches his fork into the sushi he has. It looks delicious, and Senpai's fried fish certainly looks delicious too.

I wiped my drool as soon as I realised I was drooling when a liquid fell from my chin. "No. It's not like I actually eat during lunchtime. My stomach can endure hunger until I go home."

Osano looked sympathetically before scowling. "You know you should not let yourself hungry for it will be bad for you! You can have my sushi if you want." He pushed his bento towards me to offer.

"N-no thanks, I am not hungry-"

"How about you take mine?" My eyes roamed at Senpai when he just offered his bento. This really must be a dream. "I mean, I'm full and not hungry anymore, so you can take it."

I can't let this opportunity go so I took Senpai's offer. "Huh, guess you are not that fan of sushi. Noted."

Osano looked disappointed when I took Senpai's bento. Senpai's bento also have those lettuce that tastes good. He has the appetite huh. Hihihi...

While I was cheerfully chewing my now food, I was startled by Osano's question. "You still need tutoring later?"

I mean, I can cope with Chemistry now, but...

It's fun and exciting being with Osano too.

And bonus is, I get to walk with him and Senpai, so why would I miss this chance?

"Uh, sure. Though I can now cope with chemistry, I still have a lot to learn..." Osano beamed up at me.

"Good. I know I'm the best tutor ever!"

I giggled.

Wait.

I just giggled.

Oh My.

What the actual heck is wrong with me?

Ring!

"Oh, time for classes now, eh." Senpai and Osano packed their things up. I dusted my skirt and gave them thanks.

With tutoring, as Osano closed the door, I removed my shoes and settled down the floor just like yesterday.

He proceed to make us some snack again, this time it is banana.

That made me think of other things, but he actually don't mean what I was thinking. "Bananas are rich in potassium! And please no, I didn't give you bananas because of something dirty so don't think about that please."

Tutoring goes fun and at the same time benefitting. I surely am improving at Chemistry. He timely praise me at every correct answers I have, yet teaches me on every answers I got wrong.

A question he stated startled me. It wasn't about Chemistry.

"Uh... Ayano, a question though. Answer honestly."

"Well I can't copy your solution-"

"I mean, this is not about Chemistry."

I waited for his question to come, curiosity in my mind. He struggled to speak, until his question came with his word.

"If you are given a chance to eat something, I meant edible I don't mean kinks here, for lunch, what would it be?"

I was speechless with that. I never really have a descent food to eat during lunchtime, so I kinda had a hard time to answer the question.

"Uh... Maybe some salmon with lettuce or cheeseburger... And with carrots for healthy diet... I don't know..." I fumble with my fingers trying to get the picture in my mind.

"Oh, ok. I see."

What was that all about?

And then he dismisses me. I thanked him for his kind tutorial and went home thinking of our conversation.

I guess that meant nothing, I just sat on my bed and thought something to do. Though that "lunch" thing still lingers on my mind.

And I can't think of any meals so whatever meal I know that is common in Japan, I'll just put it!
Heck this must be tittled "Lunch" but let's save that for another chapter.
