I entered the school again for the new day. Wednesday came quick more than expected.
It is really fun to be with Osano, and speaking of him, he might guess what is my favorite food from his question. But those aren't actually my favorites. I just prefer them, I think...
Senpai and Osano waved at me and I waved back. I hang out with them before the classes started.
"Oh I forget Osano! I don't have an answer to our assignments today. So could I copy yours?" Senpai made a very cute begging eyes that almost made my nose bleed.
Osano faced palmed. "What? You wanna copy my homework AGAIN? Geez your hopeless!"
It was funny to watch the two argue, but I just smiled. Senpai is so charming.
"See Ayano? This is why Taro can't get a girlfriend!" I giggled with that and I just realized it isn't like my other giggles that are creepy.
This giggle is a genuine giggle.
I could feel true happiness now for once.
And it is all because of Osano's existence.
This is the most enjoyable gameplay I had ever experienced. Not even my killing spree gameplay can beat the fun of this.
It is a light happiness. Not a sadistic or insane one, but a featherlight one.
With the classes starting, I was more active and excelled my other classmates in EVERY subject. I don't even know I could have this kind of intellectual. Maybe it's because of Osano's healthy snacks I had been fed for the last two days. Is it actually true that those foods can increase intelligence?
No not actually. Maybe it is really just Osano himself that made me like this.
What made me deserve him?
Wait why am I asking that?
I don't know anymore. He's the reason I can talk to Senpai, excel at school and be happy for once.
During lunchtime I don't see him with Senpai. It worried me. Where is that orange-haired dude and why is he not on the cafeteria chairs (it's where we will have lunch today) with Senpai?
"Hey Ayano!" I jumped from the floor and looked at the guy that startled me. No other than Osano Najimi. He is blushing, hiding something behind his back.
He pulled what has been in behind his back, revealing a bento with lovely pink with white polka does clothing to cover the box. I became dumbfounded, flustered, is he really giving me a bento!?
"Hmph! D-dont look at me like that okay?! Just sh-shut up and eat your bento!" He shoved the bento on my hands, then sat beside Senpai.
Hesitantly, I followed him and sat across Senpai, nervously smiling. Senpai and Osano exchanged looks, Senpai then snickering then looking at me.
"Itadakimasu?" He offered a soft smile at me.
"Hehe... Itadakimasu!" I responded with uncharacteristic high pitched voice. Senpai chuckled while Osano gave a stifled laugh.
I uncovered the clothing that surrounded my bento and removed the lid cover. My eyes widened in surprise as what food I have said yesterday is indeed my meal today. Osano totally put much effort in my salmon. Surrounded with lettuce, and there is also cheeseburger! Well cut carrots are also there.
These amazing foods made my mouth water. I picked my chopsticks and started eating like a hungry man that hadn't ate for days. I didn't even remembered Senpai is in front of me, I just ate.
As I finish my meal, Senpai is just staring at me chopsticks on hold as the food between the said chopsticks fall out to his bento. Osano, too, was wide-mouthed and in shock.
Shame started to spread in my feelings. Gosh I just embarrassed myself between my crushes.
"uh... Sorry for that... It's just it's the first time I got decent food at lunch..." I lowered my head and suddenly found my skirt interesting. I fiddled some fabrics with my hands...
After the embarrassing silence, Osano popped a question. "So... How's my cooking?" He then resumed eating his bento waiting for my answer. Senpai returned to his food, too.
"The salmon is well-cooked. Tasted better than my mother's, not that my mother is a bad cook. She cooks well, but you got it better." I commented, playing with my chopsticks as to catch remaining foods in my bento, which I will tell, not that much. I ATE TOO MUCH.
"Wow really? It was my first time cooking salmon, I don't usually go for heavy meals at lunch. Glad you liked it." Osano gaped in surprise, dropping his chopsticks on the table and looking at me with shiny eyes.
The thought that he cooked salmon just for me while he don't actually cook it before made me flush in my seat. Gosh, I don't really deserve him.
Class resumed and I was active more than ever. Certain inspiration and energy from food helped me. I really should thank him later... I forgot to thank him.
When the class ended, I catches up with Osano and Senpai, for my tutoring, and as Senpai separated his way, leaving us two alone, I broke the silence.
"Osano?"
"Yeah Yan-chan?" I blushed from the use of nickname, but dismissed it.
"Thank you."
Osano looked confuse. "For what?"
"For everything."
Osano gave me an expression that can't be painted.
"For the bento, I haven't gave you thanks right?"
"O-oh! Sheesh! No worries! I'm glad you appreciated it anyway!" He messed my hair and lead the way.
A/N:
Sorry guys I was inactive for a long time! Took me a while to finally decide what happens next, and I have an idea how to fix my error about Osano's class. Ima finish week 1 soon, then proceed making week 1.2?
