you couldn't stand hearing the yelling anymore. bayleigh and tyler had started going at
each other when hayleigh called a house meeting. it started with the intent of getting everyone to apologize to bayleigh because she was being wrongfully accused of being the hacker. however, she then accused tyler of throwing your name under the bus.

you weren't really sure who to believe. sure, you and tyler were in a showmance, but tyler could've been lying to you this whole time. you weren't sure, and you wouldn't be sure until you got to go home and watch the season play out.

you were sick of hearing them yell back and forth, so you followed angela and jc upstairs. angela told you to go in her hoh room right before she yelled down at tyler. you laid down on the hoh bed and buried your face in pillows. you couldn't help but let the tears pour out.

you really didn't want to believe bayleigh and haleigh. they've never given you a reason to believe them with anything they've ever said. however, you had been hurt by guys in the past, so it was possible that tyler was just using you, and you hadn't noticed.

you heard the door open, and you knew it was tyler as soon as the bed sank down next to you. he draped his arm over your back, and started playing with your hair. you didn't really want to talk to him right now, but you figured you were going to have to.

"(y/n), i promise you it's not true. i'm not sure what i can do to get you to believe me, but i swear on everything that i never threw you under the bus. she misinterpreted my words. i asked her, 'if some power was to be used, and someone came off the block, (y/n) would go up right?' i wanted to make sure that i knew the outcome of all my options. what if i hadn't asked, used the veto, and then she threw you up on the block. i would've been so mad because i could've prevented that from happening." he sighed realizing he was just rambling now.

"please just know that i would never betray you like that." his voice started cracking near the end, and you figured he had tears in his eyes.

you stayed silent for a while trying to process what he had said. you weren't sure if you should believe him or not, but why wouldn't he tell you the truth. there was so much running through your head, and you were just so overwhelmed.

"please just say something." his voice was small and almost inaudible.

you turned your head to look at him. his eyes were brimming with tears, and his expression was full of sadness when he saw that you had been crying.

"i believe you, but if i found out that you are lying to me, once we get out i mean, i'm never talking to you again. deal?"

"deal."

tyler smiled at you before leaning in. he waited for a second, not wanting to kiss you if you didn't want him to, but you quickly closed the gap between you.
