♣Ross's Pov ♣

As I'm in the Ambulance truck, I rewind the whole day. I think to myself as to how she did it. I sigh in relief to see laura cough up the water. Then it didn't look so good after. Cause all that water turned into blood. They gave her a shot and her head fell right back down. They put the mask over her to control her breathing. Then the truck stopped. They rush her out and into the hospital. I was practically running to make sure I didn't let go of her hand. While they rushing her to the emergency room. They looked at me like I'm crazy. I said something along the lines about being her boyfriend for 5 years. So they let it go. I heard the main doctor say that they need to stitch her leg up before doing anything else; so when she coughed her blood she wouldn't be losing a whole ton of blood. When they looked at her leg, I saw worry in their eyes as they glanced at each other. They start to say something that I couldn't quite hear, but they started moving again. I made sure I was out of their way. I just could let go of Laura's hand. It was so soft, delicate, and small. Then I saw something I wish I didn't see. The doctors where pulling out leaches from her leg. It made me gag. I thought I was going to throw up. No wonder what those bump were on her leg. I saw how many the pulled out. It was 4 leaches. Then all this green puss came out. Which means it was infect too. One of the doctors got this tool and I guess it had some type of magnetic. Since it got out the metal easily. I told them there was some metal in her fingertips too. So they all nod ok. So as they stitch up her leg I cringe to every time they jab her in the ankle. As it pierced through her skin and fleash two the other side again. As they went back and forth. All the doctor stop and some go get tools. And other get tissues. And one of them had a knife. I look down Laura's beautiful leg see there was one big lump. It was blocking them from stitching. It was this very odd color it was greenish and dark blue. Almost like barf. It had on little dot that was black. I saw some of the doctors hand the guy with knife, tissues. It was like a small ballon thay was on Laura's leg. He pressed the knife down and all this liquid and creamy white stuff come out. I'm guessing it was more of the infection from the lake. They bad part was it got in my mouth. It was all soggy and mushy which felt like wet mash potates. It DEFINITELY did not taste like that. It had tangy taste. And smelt like fresh dead animal. It tasted like rotten food with mold on it. As soon as that got in my mouth I grabbed the trash can with my other hand and threw up in it. The doctors look at me. I said i got it in my mouth. I am going to srub my mouth EXTRA EXTRA good after this. As he wipes up the spot which is now inflated with tissues to clear anything left. Luckily they have gloves. They stitch up the rest of the cut and put ointment on after. They move up to her face. I still have a grip on Laura's hand. I wasn't ready to let go. And I wasn't going too either. I cried a little as I looked away. As glance back to see laura coughing blood. She wasn't awake though, it just was her body is reacting to the drowning before. As they do their work, Laura slowly eases down on coughing. Until she completely stop. She still can't breath herself, but it takes time. And I am willing to wait. Just to know she alive and healthy. Even if she had Autism. I would help her until we both die together. I after a few minutes the main doctor came to me and said something. Like how she has fully recover. And she has to wake up by herself(Coma). Otherwise her brain would lose every single memory. And what I mean by is wouldn't know how to function. So she'll die quickly after waking. So no medicine to wake her. The thing is it takes years for most people's brain cells to all come back after 6 mins of no oxygen to the brain. I'll wait for her for 7 years if I have to. They move laura to a different room and I follow with my hand in hers still.

☆ 19 minutes later ☆

Jake comes in: " Oh my."

Ross eyes are too focused on laura: " What are you doing here?"

Jake in a wheelchair and rolls to Ross: " Cuz over their is my spot." He said pointing to the bed to next to hers.

Ross looks at him shocked: " What happened?!"

Jake rolls his eyes: " Abby did! She wanted to go race car driving. We did. And let just say she went the wrong way and crash in to me. And I flung forward in the vehicle into a wall. And broke some bones."

Ross: " Dude I am so sorry."

Jake: " What happened to Laura, Ross?!"

Ross: " She drowned in the lake where there use to be camp."

Jake: " How did this happen?" As im about to speak the same man walks in with his daughter.

Man: " She saved my daughter. She was swim out for something. And I think she got it. Anyways I was trying to get my daughter since she slip in to the lake. My heart was pounding as I tried swim to get her. Then saw my daughter rise. I saw her white dress and something else. So I swam over to find her holding my daughter. We both thanked her. I was glad my daughter didn't get stuck in the things that were in the lake. As me and my daughter go home. We hear a yell. It was for help and we knew someone got stuck. And we called the ambulance. After I did that rushed out side with my daughter to see her nothing breathing. And with this young man trying to safe her."

Jake looks at Ross then the man: " Wow!"

Ross looks down: " So did you know Laura or something?"

Man: " Laura? Laura?! As in Laura Marie Marano?"

Ross: " Yes! Did you know her?" I reply and questions to the man in front of me.

Man: " Yes I did. I'm her..........."

So who do you think he is? And the little girl? How will Ross and Jake take the news? Does laura know who he is?
