Chapter 14

When morning arrived, Jennie awoke to a heavy feeling in her stomach. She scratched her eyes and eventually opened it, only to realize it was Lisa laying comfortably on top of her. She's giggling and stroking her baby's hair. 'What a wonderful day with a wonderful goddess on top of me' Jennie thought with a gloomy face and chilling look drawn in her face.

"Good morning my brightest star!" She greeted joyfully, planting kisses on top of Lili's head. But Lisa grumbled.

"Baby, wake up." She tried waking her up again. again and again. but instead, lisa snuggled more close to her.

"Baby, I have work to do for the company today, but I promise to make it up to you later."

Lisa abruptly removed her top and turned away from her. Jennie sighed heavily. she hated to admit it, but it seemed impossible that she could continue to lie to herself about being an under. She's too whipped, and she can't do anything to stop it. She cleared her throat before speaking, "Lisa b-"

"I just wanted to be with you!" Lisa sobbed out loud, her cheeks twisted from crying.

"Is your work more important than me?" She added, getting out of bed.

Before she could storm out, Jennie whispered melancholy, gripping her wrist softly.

"Baby, you are far more important to me than everything else in the world."

But Lisa angrily yanked her wrist away from Jennie's grip and went outside, closing the door loudly. Jennie could only wipe her face, distressed.

After an hour, she approached the girl in her play area, wondering if she had lost her anger. She doesn't need to find Lisa because she already knows she just goes to her play area. So, as whipped as she is, she has already cancelled her meeting for today. She sighed deeply and exhaled before knocking on the door. When no one answered, she slowly opened it and searched for the room. She saw her still weeping and facing her back, so she approached slowly. She kisses her shoulder blade and cuddles her from behind.

"Baby, please talk to me." Jennie cooed as she breathed against her neck, resting her chin above on its shoulder.

Lisa tried to get herself out of jennie's hold but jennie was so strong that she couldn't escape.

"Guess what? Nini is going to be with her lili all day!" Jennie yelled cheerfully not enough to hurt her ears. pinching Lisa's tummy, which tickled the younger. She used this opportunity to turn Lisa around and face her, who was now pouting fiercely.

Lisa, with tears in her eyes, says, "I just want to spend time with you because I love you so much. Romantically."

It was then that Jennie felt chills down her spine, goosebumps on her skin, and all she could hear was the thundering hammering of her heart. These are the words she has been waiting to hear from the girl she loves the most. She longed to hear this from the girl she hoped would feel it for her, didn't she? And now she's going to let it go? No. She is not foolish enough to pass up a chance.

She didn't know what to feel at this point. she felt overwhelming. The only thing on her thoughts right now was waiting for approval from Lisa's parents upon arriving at the work trip. And if Lisa's parents approve, she will no longer hold back from giving the girl her affection. She simply wants their relationship to be legal.

She cupped Lisa's face and held her tenderly like a fragile glass before pulling her to sit on her lap like a child. 

"Nini also loves you. very lot. And what about that? She needed Lili just as much as she needed oxygen to live. But Nini will be devastated if her baby Lily can't forgive her." Jennie croaked, but it only came out as a pout. Lisa's lips softened into a smile. She then came closer to Jennie, wrapped her arms around her neck, and kissed her lovingly as their eyes slowly closed.
