(5 Years Later)

Lisa's Pov:

Midnight woke me up. I tried to sleep again, but my mind and eyes wouldn't let me. I got up gently from the bed and went to where I'd always been fond of. Balcony.

I was mesmerised by the city view of Switzerland at midnight; it was clear and chilly. I stared up at the sky and the starlight. The moon was full and bright. I closed my eyes and let the cold breeze blow across my face, tugging at the corner of my mouth in a way that made me smile in contentment.

When I think about my past, I could describe it as the happiest memories that hurt the worst; they were the ones that cut me the deepest. The girl from my past who turned every moment we spent into painful memories. But I understand everything now. The reason she pushed me away is clear to me. I hope she's happy now, just like I am. Life is cruel. Get over it.

I finally found peace in my life. My heart didn't throb in pain from the past anymore, and all I could think of was happiness, and only happiness. The past has finally let my soul run free.

I stared at the ring on my finger—the ring that gave light to my darkest life. I'm happy with my life now.

I'm so lost in my own thoughts in life that I didn't realise my bare arms were wrapped around me. "I woke up without you beside me. Why can't you sleep?"

"Sehun."

He hummed in response. So I turned to meet his gaze and cupped his cheeks. "Thanks for coming into my life."

He flashes me those smiles that got me more tied up in him: "I was destined to be with you, hon. I'm just a little late."

I cringed and slapped his arm. I turned my back on him as I surrounded his arms around my waist. He looked up at the stars and pointed at them. "You see that?" I nodded.

"You used to be that star, but now I have you, my fiancé." he said sincerely, looking directly into my orbs, almost able to keep a grin. I will adore him until the end of time. He deserves something real. Silence engulfed us, and we just felt the warmth of one another. I sank myself further into him to feel more of his warmth against my body.

"The love you showed was a new thing to me." I mumbled.

I can feel his smile above my shoulder as he planted a soft kiss on the skin. "I love you so much, Lisa. I can't wait to marry you."

He turned me around as he leaned for a passionate kiss. I smiled against his lips.

Jennie's Pov:

It's been more than 5 years, but there have been no adjustments in my life. I'm still investing all my time here in the company to expand our business.

It's been nearly 5 years, and I'm still not over it. I am still not over her. I never will. I still miss her lips, physique, and everything about her. The aroma of those lavenders, which she always carried, is still lingering in my nose.

I didn't go a day without thinking about and missing her. Her features, eyes, smile, and smell. I missed her completely. I longed to see her again. I still wanted her back more than anything else.

One thing I used to take for granted was being able to move through life without pain or aches. Because I need to believe that there will be another life for us. That we shall be in love all over again. But for now, all I have is her accent and smile in my thoughts.

I tried to date somebody else. I tried going on blind dates that my buddies forced me to. But it all failed. My heart does not beat for anyone other than Lisa.

I am extremely grateful to my friends for still being with me. They never leave me, even when the others have families.

Blaggg!!!

Great.

Damn it! Here they are again, wrecking my office door. "What the fuck, guys!"

"Oh, hello to you too, Jen." This idiot. She's going to get engaged tomorrow, but here she is, still acting like a kid. I should ask Irene to scold her.

"Ppoong, my lovelorn cousin, how are you? Don't you miss me?" Tsk no! I stood up and went to my nephew instead.

"How is my very cute nephew's vacation? Is your mom taking good care of you? Or she's still not letting you change your diapers?" I asked the 4-month-old baby boy, although he can't talk yet while gazing through Jisoo's.

"He's getting big now and very active." Rosé beamed.

They only got married last year and didn't even take their time; they started the process right away. However, Jisoo is unable to care for the infant and must rely on her wife to do so. Rosé was impregnated, and Jisoo insisted on having a kid shortly after the wedding, but now she is only carrying the baby she can bear.

"Of course, I'm now good at taking care of the child. Rosé's mom taught me," Jisoo says arrogantly, grinning from ear to ass.

"Really, chichu?! Woah! If I didn't know better, I'd be thinking it was you who were wearing diapers," Wendy said, making everyone laugh, including me. Pfttt! I quickly covered my mouth. God! Jisoo's face was hysterical.

"Yah! Now that you are still single!"

"Well, chu, I'm dating someone now. You just haven't met him yet." Wendy sticks out her tongue while playing the roots of her hair. Oh, she's dating a guy, huh? It was good to hear that my friends were starting to have an affair now. They had really grown up.

"Chill chill, Gays! So Jen, have you done working? Let's go now! Now!" Joy asked, drumming my desk so loud. I'm getting dizzy around her.

"Can you stop that Joy? Or i'll throw you out of this building?"

"I was just trying to be happy here because my boyfriend Riley didn't show up on our date." Joy bleated, wearing that disappointed face.

"Maybe he's just late because he met his legal one." Yeri said.

"Bitch!"

"Guys! I'm so excited for my engagement party tomorrow!" Seulgi broadcast out of the blue, receiving a slap on the butt by Irene.

This is what I love about them. They made my day complete. I wouldn't know what to do without them. We are blood sisters, and even though they are now busy with their own lives, it is still impossible for us to separate. We are still the same as before.

"Excited much? Don't worry, I will ruin your happy day tomorrow," Yeri chortled.

"You try, and I will cut your wide ear
" Seulgi ticked off, resting her hands on each side of her waist.

"Yes, baby, I will blast the venue tomorrow," Wendy chimed in. Hays. I'm getting tired of them.

"I will blast you instead."

"Can you stop it? You're getting older day by day, and your behaviour is decreasing." Irene scolded them. Irene was right. I nodded in agreement.

Seulgi and Jisoo held each other as if crying for their loss, wiping away their fake tears.

"We missed Lisa so much at the mention of a child's behaviour" remarked the couple. "Uwuuuuu!!!! Uwuuuu!"

"Are you guys crying? What's uwuu? You sound like wolves."

I froze when Lisa was mentioned. I unconsciously smile. When can I see her again? How is she? When I questioned Rosé about her, her face grew sorrowful. She believes I didn't notice, but she's mistaken. Perhaps she hasn't received any news about her cousin yet. I recall Rosé telling me that Mr. Manoban wouldn't tell her where they were taking Lisa. But part of me believes she already knew where Lisa was. I simply shrugged it off. I'll find her.
