Chapter 36

Jughead POV

I was stood up from the couch and walked over to the dinning table where Betty and Veronica were sat planning the wedding and I handed her Matthew and kissed Betty on the cheek softly.

"Juggie how do you feel about March 14th?"

"Four months?" It's currently November 27th.

"Yeah or is that to soon?"

"No it's perfect." I said kissing her cheek again.

Then I walked into our bedroom and got changed into a pair of shorts and tshirt. I took my phone off of the nightstand and turned it on I plugged my headphones in and rolled them into the shirt and put the phone in my pocket. I walked out of the bedroom and to the front door and pulled my running shoes on.

"I'm going for a run and I'm going to just drop into my parents and tell them I'm ok. I'll see you soon. Text if you need me." I said giving her a peak on the lips before putting my headphones in and running for a little while then I was at my parents front door and I knocked on the door and I pulled my headphones out and let them dangle out of my tshirt neck. A few minutes later JB opened the door and she looked at me in shock.

"You going to let me in little sis?" I said chuckling but she just jumped on me and hugged me and shouted "JUG!!!" I chuckled and hugged her back. I walked into the house with JB still clinging to me and shut the door behind me she got off of me and looked my up and down.

"Are you ok? Mom and dad have been freaking because they haven't heard anything from you they.........." then she was cut off by shouting from the kitchen.

"I don't care who you have to call just find out!" It was my dad.

"That's dad he's on the phone trying to find out about you."

"I'll go talk to him. Where's mom?"

"Work." I nod and walk into the kitchen and my dad had his back to me.

"I swear to god if you don't..."

"Dad?" He turned around and hing up the phone and put it down he walked over to me and stood in front of me and he looked shocked.

"Jug?" He said shocked I smiled and he hugged me tightly. "Your ok." He said still hugging me.

"Yeah I'm fine." I said and we both pulled away and he looked at me.

"Why...Why didn't you call or text or visit we were so worried."

"I'm sorry I just got caught up in everything. Alice came and picked me up and told me about Betty and we went straight to the hospital to see her then she woke up and I met Matthew who is amazing. Then we went home and I spent time with them."

"Betty was in the hospital?"

"Yeah. You guys didn't know?"

"No."

"Yeah she was in a car accident. A drunk driver hit her car and she was in a coma for a week. She woke up yesterday when I came back she's ok now."

"Where is she?"

"She's at home with Veronica planning the wedding."

"Have you guys decided on a date yet?"

"We're thinking March 14th."

"Can't wait. Matthew's adorable bye the way?"
