The Pen Pal, a Niall Horan fanfic

chapter five

it's been a couple of months sense Niall auditioned for the xfactor, well now its July 23rd, it's amazing how fast time flies, one minute im sitting in my classes, waiting for next year because i will be a senior, and now it's summer and theres only one month until I am a senior. 

It was around 4 pm I was sitting in my room playing my flute, about to die of boredom. 

My phone rang, it was Niall.

"hello?"

"hey"

"what's up?"

"well"   Niall started to say something but stoped

"well what?" I asked

"I didn't make it as a solo artist"  Niall said

I didn't know what to say.

"but I'm not out of the competition eather"  he said 

"what? If you didn't make it as a solo artist how are you still in the cometition?" I asked, I was growing impatient

"they put me in a boyband" Niall said, a boy band, really?

"oh so your gonna be singing with other boys?"

"yep" he said

"who are the other boys?" I asked

"Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, and Liam Payne" he said

"that's cool" I said, I really didn't know what to say, I was shocked about the boy band thing. 

"hey I'm sorry for not texting you or calling you recently" Niall apologized

"it's ok" "hey Niall, what did you guys name your band?" I asked

"we haven't named it yet, but I was thinking, Niall and the potatoes, doo you like it?" he asked me

I was litterally laughing my head off "it's an awesome name" I giggled

"well I'm gonna go get some sleep, it's been a crazy day for me and I'm really tired, so I'll talk to you later?" he said

"sure bye Niall"  "bye" and we hung up

Niall in a boy band, very unexpected but that's great that he still has a chance to win the xfactor
