We walked along a hallway that was plan white. It reminded me of the white glossy material used for Apple products, and by Apple products I meant like the white boarder around an iPad 5. I walked in between two of the large guards. I think it was the same two that had a hold of me and Laciana earlier before we left on the pod. Where was she right now? What was she doing? I worried more about her than I worried about myself. Did she feel alone without me there by her side?
"Hey,what was that.....back there that occurred between you and the queen?"
I turned to look at the guard to my right. I could tell he was uncomfortable asking and the other guard gave him a weird look with his brows furrowed and a serious face. Frankly I was just surprised that any of em spoke to me. I had forgotten that I had been speaking in their language the whole time. Laciana didn't seem to notice that either, and if she did then there wasn't any time for her to comment about it.
"What do you mean, exactly?" I addressed him with a raised brow.
"You both touched each others lips with...your lips? Whats that?" I was surprised to see that his face held no real expressions.
"Its called a kiss."
"Does the queen like kisses?"
"Um.......yeah." This conversation was starting to awkward real quick.
"Why do you want to know? It's the queens business." The other spoke out, annoyed.
"I just want to learn the ways of the human so the queen will be pleased. She has to pick a mate soon." The one on the right replied.
"Oh that’s right! We're in the line up--"
"Wait what!? What do you two mean she has to pick a mate?" I turned my head left and right to look at both of them. My brows furrowed. Hadn't she said I was her mate before we left?
The one to my left groaned and rolled his eyes, and the other one to my right smirked.
"The queen has to mate with one of us, King Zeheertitahkians. She'll be choosing which male she wants soon enough, and I want to be the one she---"
"State your business in our corridors."
A voice echoed in my head, and apparently the other two heard it as well. We turned forward to see a gray. The classic alien icon you saw on earth. He held a steaming cup of something in his large thin hand, and had a laid back type of posture. I was dumb struck to see something that people always claimed wasn't real. Just delusional people making up stories, yeah right.
"Ahdima wants you to alter the human so he can survive on your planet." The one on the left spoke.
"I see; right this way."
His mouth never moved but his voice echoed in our heads.
The gray turned and started walking and we followed. I wanted to ask him a question about what Ahdima said earlier but I didn't know how to approach him with the question.
"You have a question, Sebastian?"
My eyes grew a little wide. How did he know my name and that I have a question?
"Y-yeah Ahdima said something about you guys being earth's keepers. What did she mean by that?"
"Usually a human wouldn't be able to handle the truth, but since your here there’s no point in not giving you an answer. My people are the scientists of the universe and earth is our biggest experiment. We created the human race basically, and we watch over our creations. Is that shocking for you?"
