OLD Beiliz is sitting on her oak chair, in front is the view of the noisy market. Staring at nothing, while her hands slowly traced the red choking marks around her neck, and the bruise in the connecting part of her neck and left shoulder. For the first time, she felt scared of the man who was once wrapped around her fingers.
The situation a while back was constantly playing in her mind.
"You have given it to me. W-why take i-it back. Ack!" She choked.
"I gave it, huh? But I am your king now. Whoever you are, all of you are obligated to follow my commands." Arthur whispered, as he slowly tightened his wrapped hands in her neck.
"I-i k-know no m-more about t-that thing! Ack!" The air is leaving her lungs, she is turning blue, when Arthur removed his strong hands and pushed her, causing her to fall.
She felt angry when Arthur threw her a distateful look. O, how she would love to make this man pay.
"I-it is true. I have s-sold it already." She softly said even though deep inside her, she is seething of anger.
Arthur harshly threw the glass to the wall, loudly breaking it that made Beiliz flinch.
Arthur then kneeled on his one knee, then roughly held her jaw, making ber looking straight to his cold eyes.
"I will give you some time to retrieve my thing. If you still do not have it by the time I am to return," he said coldly, "I will send your useless life to deepest pits of darkness." He added.
Old Beiliz clenched her fist as she watched Arthur leave the room and shut door loudly.
"Damned boy! Arrogant bastard!" Beiliz shrieked. Throwing the cup she is holding.
She may be mad but she is afraid too.
The Arthur she knew is no longer around.
She cannot make the Arthur now, shiver with her seduction.
Her eyes then turned to slits.
I shall have you again, Arthur. I will have wrapped you around my fingers again, as you shower me with shiny jewels.
Arthur angrily threw his cloak in the throne room of his castle with Knox trailing behind him, waiting for whatever commands he will demand.
"Blasted whore." Arthur cursed. He puffed an angry breathe and looked at Knox.
"Order one of your men to trail that wicked witch!" He angrily said, "Make sure to watch her every move. I trust her words no more."
Knox assumed it was the old woman he talked to a while back and exited with a murderous look.
"Yes, your majesty." He answered.
Arthur was about to turn his back when he remembered something, "Merlin mentioned to me about a prospective wife. A daughter of the king in the neighboring kingdom."
Knox have heard rumors of the king's impending plans of marriage.
"We have three neighboring kingdoms, your majesty." Arthur wondered why marriage entered Merlin's mind when he is still young.
"Nevermind. Tell the servants to send some refreshments in my chamber." He dismissively said.
