I closed my book and sat back as the bus headed for Knoxville. The kids were highly anticipating the last two weeks of school and were excited to join me on tour in Halifax. To make life easier for Hunter, and after a bit of convincing Easton, I decided to bring Millie with me. "Hey good girl," I pet her head as she rested on the couch with me, "you're a good road dog. I'm gonna have to tell Hunt."

"Jen?" Kyle mumbled from his bunk, "it's like midnight, woman. Go to bed."

"Not tired." I said quietly, scrolling through my phone, catching up on the latest Instagram buzz since Maggie was arrested at Hunter's show. E!, TMZ and Buzzfeed were all over the story, catching bits and pieces of what went down. Surprisingly, most of the facts were true and furthermore, didn't portray Hunter or I in any kind of negative light. I kept scrolling through various hashtags and found some awesome and wonderful pictures and posts from Sutton's performance which made my heart happy. I eventually wandered back toward my bed and coaxed Millie up with me.

"Hello Knoxville! How y'all doing tonight?" I admired the crowd at the outdoor space, "If you've been following the tour, you might be expecting a special guest tonight. This next guest is near and dear to my heart and I had the privilege of touring with them a long time ago. They also sang my wedding song." The crowd began to cheer as I announced, "Knoxville, let's give a big welcome to Lanco!" We performed Greatest Love Story and they stayed on to sing Born to Love You as well before heading back stage. I grabbed my acoustic guitar and played A Life That's Good and then slowed the crowd down for a moment. "If anyone hiked over to Nashville for CMA Fest or follows me online you may know my daughter was really brave and she performed at the fan fest open mic and she played the first song she learned on guitar, which was coincidentally the first song I learned." I strummed a few chords, "This is called You Belong With Me."

I finished the show with an encore - Dustin and mine's duet. After seeing fans photos and videos online, I wanted to switch things up for this leg. My band was super cool with it and agreed as they too have been observing the feedback and hype online.

"We have a two days in Atlanta before the show and we scheduled your music video for Those Were The Nights." Courtney handed me the info with the set blocking and plans.

"Perfect." I signed off on it as we passed the state lines. The two 'days off' were really spent working on the music video. Eighty percent of the video was filmed between eleven pm and four am. I had never felt more relieved than when I heard the director yell that it was a wrap.

"IHOP anyone?" Kevin suggested.

"That's one of the best things I've heard all day." I laughed and we found an IHOP, filled up on pancakes, orange juice and eggs before catching up on sleep. The next day was press, meet and greets and the show.

"Kane!" I exclaimed walking backstage, "So good to see you!" We caught up and discussed performing 'What If's', practiced a few times and grabbed a bite together.

"Jenna I think what you're doing is super cool," he smiled, "your fans are so hyped. I see so much of you online. I can't believe it's been like what, ten years since we toured." I laughed and nodded.

"I was pregnant on that tour and didn't know it. Sutton was two and half." I shook my head.

"She's gonna be a star like her mama."

"You best believe it. She can shred her electric guitar like her daddy." I laughed. We watched Dustin from the wings and I headed onstage to greet the crowd. After several songs, the band left and I did a few acoustic songs then opened up the floor to Kane. "Hey Atlanta. Y'all are in for a treat tonight. This is a friend who I have known for years and toured with back when I was just starting out. Please give a warm welcome to my friend Kane Brown!" We performed the song and I thanked Kane again before he headed off. I performed one more song before Dustin headed out for our duet. The show ended and I caught up with the guys backstage. We took a few pictures and I headed to my dressing room to grab my belongings before heading back to the hotel with Courtney.

In the blink of and eye, we were leaving our Boston show and heading to Halifax. "Are you excited?" Kyle asked as we sat, playing cards.

"Very excited." In order to accommodate everyone, Hunter was getting his bus brought up for us to use while my band and Courtney stay on my bus. "If it gets too loud on that bus, I'll come back."

"Nope, no take backs!" He laughed, "we will keep the dog though."

"You're gonna have to fight Easton for her. He FaceTimes her! Never mind me." We crossed the border and had the rest of the day in Halifax before getting back into the groove for tomorrow.
