The buzzing and ringing of my phone wakes me up in the morning. Looking over at my clock I see that it's already 1 in the afternoon. Shit. I go to sit up and my heads pounding. I look over to see two aspirin pills and grab them gulping them down with water.

My phone starts to ring again and I answer not bothering to look and see who it is calling. "Hello," I mumble as I scratch the top of my head.

"Good afternoon sleepy head. I just wanted to check up on my favorite girl and see how that hangover was treating you." I groan at the loud tone of Tanas voice on the other end and she laughs. "Awe that bad huh? Oh by the way I met sabrinas mate last night. Man practicalled yanked you of my car the minute I pulled into your driveway. And oh my god is that man hot. I hope we get lucky enough to find a mate that hot." I flinch this time because of the remark and not her very excited voice. I mutter a comment back about how I have to go hangout with Sabrina and quickly say my goodbyes before hanging up. I fall back into my pillow as I recall everything from last night. Starting with the weird moment between me and that vampire, to practically having sex with Jackson on the dance floor and ending with my pathetic attempt to get him to spend the night in my room. Yeah getting that drunk was a very bad idea. A part of me feels extremely guilty about what happened but another part of me is feeling so relieved to know Jackson wasn't with my sister last night.

I get out of bed and realize that I'm still wearing my dress from last night. I walk over to the mirror and moan in horror at the way I look. My hair is a tangled mess and my makeup is all over the place  making me look like a damn raccoon.

I close my eyes and open them again. I grab a pair of black cut off shorts and a t shirt that says anything but normal. I use my werewolf hearing to figure out whose home but it's quiet.
As I head out into the living room I'm surprised to see Jackson asleep on the couch. I smile noticing he's wearing the same clothes from last night as well. I don't get to enjoy the moment for very long though because my father walks through the front door. He instantly looks annoyed when he sees me. I try to avoid looking at him and head back to my room but it's to late. "Where do you think your going? Certainly not back to your room you ungrateful mutt. I can't stand to look at you, not today not so close to the day of when your mother lost her life because of you. Leave! Now!"

I do, running out of there as fast as I can grabbing my keys on my way out. I'm just about to start my car when I get a knock on my drivers seat window. I jump and look over to see that it's Jackson. And that seems to be just to much for me to handle because I burst into tears right in front of him. He opens my door, pulling me out and cradling me in his arms. "Where... where are w-we going," I sob my head falling against his shoulder as he kicks my door shut after pulling my keys out of my hand.

He continues to hold me without saying a word. He walks to his car where he opens the passenger side door  gently sitting me down in the leather seat. I curl into a ball and he struggles to put my seatbelt on. When he finally does he closes my door gently and climbs in on his side. He looks at me, emotions in his eyes I can't decipher. He puts the car and drive and without a word we leave my house. The only sound that can be heard in the car is my uncontrollable sobbing. He pulls the car into a small abandoned parking lot in front of a run down building.

Turning the car off he grabs my hand. "Come here," he tugs me gently over the threshold until I'm straddling his lap in the drivers seat. I continue sobbing, putting my face in the crook of his neck. He makes a small crooning sound soothing my hair back as he holds me firmly in his lap. I don't know how long it is until my sobbing subsides. But even after they do we stay in that position staring at each other.

I wiggle my hips trying to move off him and he groans in pain his hands holding tighter to my hips now. "Don't-" his breath comes out quick as he holds me still. "Don't wiggle like that baby." My breath hitches at the sweet sound of him calling me baby.
