Shadow's POV

"They're all late Rouge... Why did I go with you to this little affair?" I asked her who was next to me wearing her backpack.

"You owed me a favor... Also, I wanted you to have fun with others," She told me with her usual smile.

We watched a car pull up near mine and Knuckles and Blaze hoped out of the front. Silver stepped out of the back and used his powers to lift everyone's bags. Blaze waved over to me and Rouge as Knuckles called her over to help them.

I looked up at the sky to see Tails' plane circling around the meeting spot we chose. There sitting on the plane's wing was Sonic. He was laying down and looked like he was sleeping with his head resting on his backpack.

When the plane landed his head shot up and he looked around. It seemed like he didn't belong here and he was about to take off but Tails caught him about to leave. Tails pulled him towards us while Silver used his powers to grab Tails' bags while Sonic struggled to keep up with the small fox and put his backpack on.

"Come on Sonic! It won't be that bad!" I heard the little two-tailed fox complain as Sonic tried to pull away.

"Tails you know I can't stand water! I'll go camping with you all but no swimming for me! You can't force me to swim!" Sonic told Tails as the fox dragged him towards me and Rouge. 

"You're still afraid of the water? I thought you got over it?" Rouge asked Sonic who gave her a mean death glare back.

"Dang Sonic! That death glare could kill a person," Knuckles called as he walked towards us with Blaze and Silver following close behind and the bags were floating in the air.

"Where's the pink brat?" I asked Sonic while looking around for the annoying girl.

"Amy didn't want to come... She also had to take care of Cream while Vanilla is gone," Tails said while looking through his phone.

"So where is the campsite? We're losing daylight!" Rouge asked behind me and we all looked to Tails.

Tails let out a sigh and typed something into his phone. We gathered all our stuff and followed the small fox towards the forest. Silver made the bags float close to the ground as we walked. Sonic started to fall behind but I dismissed it.

A half an hour later we were still walking. It was oddly quiet but I like the silence. I didn't know what was wrong but something deep in my gut was telling me something was happening. I just shrugged the feeling off.

"How much longer Tails? The sun is about to set!" Knuckles asked while we were walking.

"Only five more minutes... Were almost there," I said while looking over Tails' shoulder to see the map.

"Um... Guys, we have a problem," Silver piped up close to the back.

"Shut it, Silver! We're almost there! Now help me look for the cabins so we can set the bags down," Knuckles snapped while catching up with me.

"Um... Guys!" Silver yelled again and we all stopped and turned around to see what was wrong.

"What!!!" We all yelled at the white hedgehog in unison.

"Where's Sonic?" Silver asked us and we all looked around.

The blue hedgehog was nowhere around and there was no sign of him. It was getting dark and he was nowhere to be seen. I knew something was wrong and it as too quiet.

"Faker where are you!!!" I yelled out and waited for a few seconds.

"What do we do? We don't even know where we lost him!" Rouge panicked still looking around.
