"She is complete chaos. You were meant for love. How did you end up like this?"

I stepped off the bus and walked toward the brick building as slow as I possibly could. Hood up and my gaze cast down to the ground, I tried to disappear into the crowd of kids screaming and greeting their friends like they hadn't seen them in years. Going unnoticed was a specialty of mine. I had been going to the same school as most of these kids since grade one when I moved into this dreaded town and now being a senior, 90% of the populous still couldn't tell you my name. The other 10 being my friends and the kids that liked to chase me down the street.

"Hey Justin, wait up!" Catherine called to me just as I reached the doors. Sighing, I paused my music and turned to give her my attention. Catherine is a nice girl, really kind and smart. But she had a huge crush on me and I don't think I have ever met any girl that could talk as much as she could.

"Hey Cathy, what's up?" I asked politely. We started walking and I listened quietly as she talked about everything that happened over the weekend; how her parents went out of town for the weekend and her brothers and sister decided to have a bunch of people over so she had issues doing her homework. Catherine is the type of girl who has a pretty average life, I suppose everyone in our friend group did. There was Cathy, a pretty blonde haired girl with watery blue eyes. She has two brothers and a sister, both her parents are doctors and she has never had to want for anything in her life. She got good grades, hung out with her friends, and stayed out of trouble. Her best friend was Carly, a short haired brunette with brown eyes. Carly had her twin brother Carter who looked the same. Then there was my best friend TJ, a beefy guy with dirty blonde hair and brown eyes, only child. Lastly there was me. I was an average guy with above average height. I was tall, with black hair and blue eyes. I was the quiet one out of my friend group, I have one older brother who I haven't talked to in years, and I was into photography.

Cathy and I finally made it to our homeroom just as she finished telling me how long it took for her siblings to clean everything up. We went and sat in the middle of the classroom with our friends and we all started talking about the weekend.

"Have you guys seen Izzy's new hair?" Carly asked as the rest of us shook our heads.

"No, what colour is it now?" Carter asked, just a little too invested in someone else's life. He isn't the only one though, the whole school was invested in Izzy's life.

"Blue." Carly states and Cathy rolled her eyes.

"I don't know why she always changes it. Why does she want so much attention?" Cathy asked while glaring at the ground. This is also quite typical. As if on cue she walked into the classroom and everyone turned to stare at her. She clung to her books and walked to the back of the room to her desk not bothering to look at anyone or take off her white headphones. Her now bright blue hair cascading down her back as she walked. I couldn't help but stare until Cathy threw a pencil at my head and scoffed. Everyone slowly went back to their previous conversations as Izzy took out her sketch book and started to draw.

Izzy was a complete mystery. She showed up out of nowhere in the middle of freshman year and doesn't have any friends. Everyone wants to know her though, guys want her because they know they can't have her and every girl is jealous of her. I am ashamed to report that I am just like every other guy. I want to know her. I need to know her. The bell rang snapping me out of my trance as I glanced behind me once more to see her with her head down on the desk as the teacher started class.

"I don't understand how the school is legally allowed to call this pizza. It is cardboard with a slice of cheese and ketchup on it." Cathy complained as usual, being the drama queen she is. Carly went to reply but I wasn't listening. I was too busy staring at the girl with blue hair sitting all alone two tables over.

"You know that if you look away she won't disappear, right?" I heard TJ comment as he hit my back. I came crashing back down to reality and saw everyone staring at me. I looked back at Izzy and saw her looking at me with her eyebrow quirked and a smirk settled on her lips. My face heated up as I looked down at my pizza.

"Oh leave him alone. He is in looooveeeee." Carter sang in a teasing voice.

"I don't know what you see in her." Cathy sneered as she took a bite into an apple.

"He is he only person that she will talk to. That's what." TJ laughed. \

"She is complete choas, you were meant for love. How did you turn out like this?" Cathy said desperately. It is true, I'm the only person she talks to. I know her better than anyone which isn't saying a lot because I still don't know anything about her. I craved to know more. Suddenly the table went quiet as I felt someone's hand on my shoulder. I saw blue hair out of the corner of my eye and froze just looking at the pizza that sat on my tray.

"Hey shutterbug, why don't you take a picture next time? It will last longer." You could hear the smirk in her soft voice as she stood back up and walked out leaving everyone awe struck.

"What the fuck just happened?" TJ exclaimed as my face turned bright red and my mind went blank. I couldn't think. What did just happen?
