Short, yes. Important, yes. Skip, no.

Sorry for the late updates btw! I am so damn sorry!

I nod and say, "that's our mission now. We'll get there, trust me. For now, I need to see that wound again."

He hesitates and then rolls his sleeve up.

I put my hand on it and I close my eyes. I could swear I just saw a blue, thin lightning bolt go through. I try opening my eyes but hesitate. I didn't want to. Something told me not to...not yet...

I could hear faint voices, mumbling...different people, some of those voices I didn't hear them before...some of them sound familiar yet too faint to understand who they belong to.

All of a sudden, I find myself standing behind a woman. She was either too focused on yelling at whoever was in front of her or she just couldn't see me. I shift and see...Lokar?!

How did he even get there?

"You idiot! It's useless to resist me. You can't fight back, you know that right? You're just weak. You have all this power, you know nothing of how to use it! Either hand it all over to me along with your loyalty or shrivel up and die in the void. Your choice. I have no care if you die either way. I already have another plan to destroy them all", the woman says.

Is she referring to us?

I think she's referring to us...yep! Definitely referring to us!

"Tch...I'm not staying here. But I'm clearly not going without a fight", Lokar sneers.

The lady cocks her head. "Is that so?"

The lady shifts, taps on the screen behind her back while resting her left arm and pulls out a sword. She still didn't move her left arm and instead tapped again. I try to make out the faint wording but I can't get any closer. I'm stuck watching from that one place.

Lokar takes a battle stance but she simply slashes her sword and...

Lokar freezes. He falls down, gasping and coughing. He's bleeding on the floor. There's no denying this lady is a god like me. I notice a small screen behind her back, where her left arm was. She taps on it and the screen disappears.

She walks over to him and points the sword. She lifts Lokar by the collar as I had and threatens him, saying, "So...are you doing this? Or will you die?" Lokar sighs and nods weakly. The woman smiles and drops him. She turns around and the sword disintegrates. "Perfect. I'll tell you what you need to do. In the meantime, say a word about this to your followers or act out of place...", she says grinning.

Suddenly, she whips around and says, "...and I won't hesitate to make sure that your soul never knows peace again as it phases between dimensions for eternities to come. Got that?"

Lokar agrees and she claps her hands once. "Get out", she says, turning around. He gets up, turns around and disappears. "As for the two of you? Get ready to fight. You two are going to kill the other two and I'll finally have my way with that freak again. You'll need to prepare though. The girl with the green eyes can pose a threat to us", she says to somebody.

I look around to see nobody. Then, in front of me...two souls materialise. An orange soul with blue stripes on the side...and a purple soul with a blue flower on in the centre. Both of them, darker and covered in black thread.

Maya and Boomer's souls. I try to reach out but immediately get pushed back and-

THUD!

"Oww!", I groan after realising I fell on my back after my soul literally jumped back into my body and pushed me back. "Kaya! Are you alright?!", Ky asks, worried. I sit up straight and nod.

"My god self is going to need some time to figure things out. We can't go after them now- neither of us are ready. So...let's spend the time we have to train", I say, smiling at him. Ky nods excitedly and the two of us run to main courtyard.

We spent most of the time training and I taught him how to use the screens. We also decided to make a game plan for when we had to fight.

Since Ky didn't have any experience yet with fighting and my god soul had some kind of experience with her powers. After all, Chi is an important part of fighting as a god since it is the foundation. Kairu was important too, however, without Chi, Kairu would become unstable and the being living without it would not be able to survive any longer than 0.001 seconds.

HOW DID I KNOW THAT?!

The plan was that my god-side would use the information and code she got to find the exact place we had to go to get their souls. Ky would assist me by making sure I didn't die off and by changing my code while I fought. For example, if I used fire, since me and Ky shared the same soul, we also had the ability to share minds.

So, I would he would know when I had to switch elements and powers at the perfect times. He could also assist me by being an extra pair of eyes. He would let me know when to dodge, when to attack and when to block. All while I fought.

That is what we spent the day training on. His reflexes and my strength.

For a beginner, he was extremely agile and nimble. Concentrated. Both of us were a perfect fighting duo.

We worked until the two of us were on the verge of collapsing. We even skipped dinner and trained even after our breathing turned ragged. At eight thirty, Ky and I stop training and take a breather.

He looks like he wanted to say something, but is too exhausted.

Suddenly, he collapses on the floor and breathed from his mouth. Guess I was right. I follow and fall to my knees and say while breathing heavily, "Damn it....ahaha..I've...never trained...that much.......agh...oh god..." I catch my breath for a few seconds and try to drag Ky back to the X-Scaper.

Except, I fell on my back and passed out as well.
