Since we have some time to kill, Gretchen, Winter, Teddy and I sit around one of the dining tables to chat. Li also walks around our feet underneath the table, it's become normal of her to wander around the cafe before we open.
Tye hasn't completely left my mind yet either, but at least I'm in a better mood than yesterday.
Just then, Jimin walks in with Mina. Before we can greet them Jimin's eyes bulge out at Li.
"Wah~ This must be Taehyung's cat. She's so cute!" He picks her up with the cutest smile on his face, his eyes crease into thin lines as Li meows softly. Mina awes along and strokes Li on her back. "She's more than cute, she's adorable." She adds.
"Ghee hi to you too." Winter looks over her shoulder. I fold my arms and add, "Yeah it's like you prefer the cat to us."
Jimin breaks his eyes away from Li and looks at me. A warm pink hue tops his cheeks and lips stretch into a cozy smile. His head then shakes as he cradles the kitten in his arms. "I would never."
"Yo yo." Jungkook strolls into the room.
"Hey Jung..." My words trail off when I see him walking in with a girl under his arm and a soda in the other hand. She has one of those unrealistic plastic bodies of an Instagram model, very mature and curvy paired with a baby face.
"Uh, watchya' got there?" I ask. He lowers the soda can from his lips and looks at it.
"A soda."
"I meant the girl..."
"Oh right, everyone this is Kimmy. Kimmy that's Lilo, Gretchen, Teddy, Jimin, Mina, and over there is my crazy jealous ex-girlfriend Winter."
Winter scowls and rolls her eyes back, not bothering to turn around.
"Nice to meet you all!" She giggles in a bubbly voice. She sounds like one of Jungkook's girls alright...
Chrys then enters the room. "Chrys is here! Hiii!" Teddy waves.
"Hi." Her voice is blunt and bothered.
"What's up with you?" I ask.
She takes a breath and looks around the room. "I have something to announce, so I'll need everybody around this table ASAP."
An announcement? I wonder what it could be. I hope it's nothing too serious.
Teddy wastes no time in running to the kitchen and calling Taehyung down. "Taehyung! Get down here, Chrys has news!"
The sound of his name being loudly projected through the cafe makes my body turn cold and still.
"You wanted to kiss me."
Why... why did he have to say that? Just when things were getting less awkward, he asks that. It's wrong. I have to keep reminding myself that he's my boss... I can't get attached to him whenever he says dumb things like this.
Taehyung comes down shortly after and sits at the table next to ours. I try my best not to look at him or show my heated cheeks.
"We're all here, what is it?" Gretchen asks.
Chrys' eyes scroll up to the ceiling as she releases a long, loud and dramatic groan.
