I haven't really spoken to Taehyung since the whole "you're boyfriend's trash" situation in the kitchen. Which should be understandable, he offended me, what more is there to say after that?

I haven't talked to Tye much either. Even though I forgave him, I think I need a little time to wrap my head around everything.

Before work started I texted Mina and asked her to visit me on my break. As soon as she comes we both go outside to sit on the park bench.

"So, what's going on in the life of Lilo?"

"I have a lot to tell you. About Tye."

"Uh oh. Why do I have the feeling that this isn't going to be good news?"

"Well you know how I told you he and Trisha kissed two years ago?"

"Ugh, how could I forget."

"The other morning I caught them talking in the hallway. When I asked him about it he denied it was anything worth explaining. I was still curious, so I asked Trisha yesterday. She... told me that two years ago they didn't just kiss."

"What?! You mean they—?"

"Yeah. Multiple times. I was so disgusted that he'd be on and off with someone like her, but more than anything I was taken back. He's so sweet and she's so mean, they're complete opposites."

"Did you confirm this with Tye? You can't always trust what Trisha says."

"I did, straight away in fact."

"And what did he say?"

"He said it was the truth. He didn't even try to deny it."

"Aw Lilo... I'm so sorry. You didn't deserve to hear this."

"Thanks. We all leave high school in a couple of months, he was probably hoping to keep it a secret until then. I got so mad at him for lying to me that I started yelling at him, and even though we made up in the end I'm not sure what I should do."

"What I don't get is that if the two of them really had nothing to do with each other anymore, why would they be talking in the hallway? Are you worried that he and Trisha could still be hooking up?"

"I... I don't know. He said he's not but my minds all over the place right now. I don't think he is though."

"Well I understand you 100%. He's a sweet guy and all, but there's no point in being sweet if you can't be honest. It might sound cliché, but do what you think is right. If you fully trust him then accept everything he's done, but if you don't feel secure right now call him and tell him you need some time to yourself. If he really loves you he'll respect that."

I take a long breath in, then out. My head nods to Mina. "You're right. I'll see how I feel when I can think more straight. Thanks for talking to me Mi."

We smile at each other before sharing a hug. "Of course, I'll always be here for you girl."

—AUTHOR'S POV—

It was later in the evening, the sun was almost all the way down so of course the girls had gone home.

Since nobody was around, Jungkook and Jimin stayed behind to talk in the diner.

"So what did you wanna talk about?" Jungkook rests his feet on the table.

Taehyung walks through the hallway while rolling his arms into the sleeves of his jacket, ready to head out. Just as he's about to enter the diner he comes to an abrupt stop, the sound of Jimin's voice holds him back.
