As I'm working peacefully Mina comes running into the cafe like a lunatic.
"Lilooooooo!"
She throws her arms around my neck, I awkwardly look back at the customers staring at me, trying not to drop their orders. "Mina what is it?"
"Jackson broke up with me!" She wails. I put down the plates and take her to the corner of the room.
"Oh Mi, don't worry about it. If he's willing to dump you over a stupid haircut then he wasn't worth it to begin with."
She wipes a tear from her eye and weakily smiles. "You're right. My salon appointment is in two days. Once they fix this mess I'll just date a guy who's twice as hot as Jackson."
"...Not what I was going with but that works too." I nod. The door chime rings and Jimin enters with Jungkook, and a girl wrapped under his arm.
After exchanging some words she kisses him on the cheek and leaves. Jungkook watches her butt as he walks out. Hardly surprising.
"Who was that?" I cross my arms smirking. He tilts his head smugly and runs his hand through his hair.
"My new girl. I forget her name though. Kennie? Jennie? Something like that. She'll be back, she just went to the store."

"Don't worry bro," Jimin slaps his shoulders, "knowing you, she'll only be around for another day, so learning her name is useless."
"True." He shrugs.
"No shame." Winter rolls her eyes, overhearing the conversation from behind the register. "No need to be jealous babe, there's still a special place in my heart for only you."
"Oh no please, keep me out of your heart."
Teddy hurries over enthusiastically,
"Hey guys! I'm hungry, Let's go to Wander Nacho after work! We haven't been in a while."
"Okay, sure." I nod. Everyone agrees as well.
As if everyone's entering the cafe at the same hour, Tye walks in and looks around the room. His coat is wet from the sudden rain. I can only assume he's looking for me.
"Tye." I alert him before I give him a gentle hug. "What are you doing here when the weathers this bad?"
"I came to see you. After work I was thinking we could do something?"
"Oh I'd love to, but my co-worker just invited me out to get nachos. But I'm sure you can come, it would be a nice way for you to meet everybody."
"Sounds like a good idea."
Noticeably, a lot fewer customers have been coming in because of the weather and as soon as a sharp bolt of lightning flashes, the remaining customers pay up and hurry to their cars.
Taehyung comes downstairs and goes straight over to the door, closing it and flipping the open sign.
"What are you doing?" Jimin asks.
"Park ranger called. He said we have to close because the storm is too dangerous."
"But what about nachos?" Teddy pouts.
"It's not like I want to keep you all here. If you want to leave, be my guest, but until the storm passes we'll have to stay indoors."
"Wait dude, my girls out there! She's wearing booty shorts, it's not safe!" Jungkook remembers.
"Your girl? Who?"
"Uh... Pennie? Ken- look her name doesn't matter." Just then the girl beats on the door with both fists. When she's let in her hair drenched by the vicious rain and her teeth are chattering uncontrollably.
"Oh man, let's get you a blanket," Jungkook brings the girl through the kitchen and into the hallway.
Tye then walks up to Taehyung and the two share the most weirdly intense look I've ever witnessed. Tye's slightly shorter, but that doesn't break him down whatsoever.
"I don't believe we've met properly. Kim Taehyung, right? I'm Tye." He holds out his hand. "Congratulations on the race, you're a very fast runner."
He's so well mannered.
Taehyung stares at it for a moment before taking his hand out of his pocket and shaking back.
"I think the gold medal told me that already."
What a jerk. Seriously, what is his problem?
Tye's jaw clenches, he lets go of Taehyung's hand and looks back at him as if that response perfectly wrapped up his first impression for him.
Teddy jumps forward with a question. "Wait so, if the storm doesn't stop, could we be staying here overnight?!"
Taehyung sighs. "Unfortunately."
"YES!" Teddy cheers. Everybody in the room looks at her weirdly.
"What? Like you haven't dreamed of having a slumber party in the cafe before! Dreaming of what it's like to wake up to the fresh smell of cake and candy... and cake... Mmm I can't wait!"
"Pretty sure you're the only one." Winter says.
"Teddy slow down, we're not sure if we'll be staying overnight yet." Gretchen tells her. "Let's all get change out of our uniforms before we plan anything."
A sleepover at the cafe with the girls, Taehyung, Tye, Jimin and Jungkook...?
This should be very... very interesting.
