"So I'm not fired?" I stupidly ask.
He pinches his chin and hums, his eyebrows furrowing dangerously. "Oh that's right... I could fire you for this, couldn't I?"
A nervous gag gets trapped in my throat as my body stiffens and fingernail...

After Tye and I's wonderful date he drove me back home, we got out of the car and entered my house. Like earlier, the place is still quiet with no sign of my parents.
"I guess my parents are still out." I place my purse on the living room table. Tye grins at me and pulls into another kiss.
After a few seconds we fall onto the couch, I lay on my back while Tye hovers over me. His body rolls slowly on mine. Unconsciously, my legs slightly part, letting his body rest in between.
Just then, Margo comes rushing in with loud barks. I try to ignore it the first few times but he proceeds to bark at the door and then to us. "Margo shush!" I hiss. He then tugs on Tye's trouser leg with his teeth and pulls with a growl.
"Margo I said quit it! Bad boy!"
He jumps around whilst barking at the door until we hear my parents voice on the other side and keys jiggling by the lock.
"Oh shit!" I whisper, pushing Tye's body away. "It's my parents. You've gotta get out of here."
After a moment of panic-filled scrambling, I lift open the living room window enough for Tye to climb out. He throws one leg over, followed by the other, then leaps outside.
"There's a gate in our backyard, you can leave through there." I whisper from the other side of the window, hearing the lock of our front door turning.
"Okay." Tye nods. He gets ready to run but stops himself. "Oh and Lilo?"
"Yeah?"
He leans his head through the window and kisses me.
I let out an innocent giggle as he runs away. The front door opens the very next second. I quickly shut the window and fix my hair.
When my parents enter the room my mom gasps at my outfit while my dad arches an eyebrow.
"Lilo, whose car is that outside?" He asks strictly.
"Uh..... T-taxi drivers. I went out with some friends tonight and got a taxi home."
"Oh honey you look amazing! Let mommy get some pictures!" She holds up her camera and starts bombarding me with off guard shots.
"Mom, stop..." I groan.
"Your father and I are sorry we weren't able to be with you for you're 18th birthday. We were held up at work, but we bought you some gifts today!" Her arm lifts with paper bags dangling from her fist.
"Thanks mom, I'll check them out later. I'm rather sleepy."
She looks at me and squints her eyes, tapping her lip. "Dear, why is your lipstick all smeared?"
