Harry's POV

"You sure this is where Ben stays?" asked Liam for the hundredth time, gripping the steering wheel.

Zayn groaned in annoyance.

"Yes!" I said impatiently. "Come on, we don't have a lot of time."

We pulled up in front of the small rickety building and slipped out of the car. The area was dark, eerie and quiet, it made me feel uneasy. The moon shone brightly, so we switched off our flashlights. There were no lights shining from the building, it was desolate and scorched with fire. Two birds flew up with a loud cry, making us jump out of our skins. What sort of a crazy place was this? That bastard could be hiding anywhere with his minions, ready and armed to kill us.

Liam stepped next to me as the three of us stared up at the building. "Where's the front door?"

"Does this building even have a front door?" asked Zayn doubtfully. "If this is where Ben keeps his-our stuff, then he would make it a little difficult for anyone else to break in."

Sometimes it's good to have a smart gangster by your side.

Liam shrugged. "Let's just look, anyway."

The building, if we could call it that, turned out to have no doors at all. Liam sighed in frustration.

"We need to climb up, bro. No other choice," said Zayn, patting his pocket to check if his gun was still there.

"And how do you expect us to do that?" demanded Liam. "Do I look like a cat to you?" he added sarcastically.

I pointed towards the wall. "Look, there are holes and cracks in there. And there's ivy to hang on to. It shouldn't be too hard to go up there."

"Maybe not for you," grumbled Liam. "But I can't climb. I'd fall and break my bones."

"Fine then, you stay here and keep a lookout," said Zayn simply. "Harry and I will climb up and ransack the place."

"We aren't ransacking," I corrected him. "We are taking back what is rightfully ours."

"But either way, we are going to make a mess," said Zayn with the 'duh' tone. "Liam, give me a boost up."

Liam went to the wall and bent down. Zayn stepped on his back and grabbed hold of the ivy stem, testing its strength before he threw his weight on it and his feet did the same.

"It's quite strong," he said thankfully. "It'll hold. Come on Haz."

I waited for him to go up a little bit, watching him climb lightly and steadily. I then stepped on Liam's back before hoisting myself up on the wall.

"Be careful," warned Liam and I nodded before shinning up.

It wasn't too difficult to climb up. At one point, the ivy stem snapped under my hold and I cursed as I slid down a few inches. I glanced down at my hand to see that I'd scratched it. Ignoring the burning sensation, I followed Zayn, praying that he wouldn't stamp on my face.

The moon suddenly went behind a cloud and the whole area went dark. I stopped at once, cursing under my breath. Stupid moon.

"The fuck," complained Zayn. "Liam, switch on your flashlight."

A beam of light shone upwards and the two of us continued until Zayn stopped suddenly.

"Okay, here's a window...with no glass. And-oh my God, that smell is awful!" Zayn looked down at me, his eyes blinking rapidly.

He stepped aside to let me crawl up next to him. I looked in through the window to see absolute blackness. A terrible smell wafted out from the window making me gag.
