‘I will get it!’ I shouted as the doorbell rang

I knew it was Corbin; I dressed in my black skinny jeans, white top with my fluffy jacket and ugg boots. He told me to dress casual, so I did.

Dad had already beat me to the door and he was talking to Corbin, they both walked into the lounge room without acknowledging my existence. Everyone was in the lounge room; I was hoping to get out without people –especially Liam- meeting Corbin, guess not.

‘Dad, why are you stealing Corbin?’ I asked

‘I’m not, I just want to get to know him if he is taking you on a date’

The boys all introduced themselves, surprisingly so did Liam but then he walked out.

‘I will go talk to him, have a good night’ Niall smiled

When dad finally let us go we went out to a French place and then we went and saw Ted in the movies, it was a hilarious movie.

‘So you working tomorrow?’ he asked

‘Nope, you?’

‘Yeah, seven to five’

‘Oh that shift sucks, I will probably get dragged there tomorrow by Niall anyway’ I laughed

‘You and that Niall guy have a thing?’

‘No, we are like best friends’

‘Oh who was it?’

‘Liam, the one that walked out’

‘Oh’

‘Well this is my house, thank you for a good night and have fun tomorrow’ I laughed and hugged him good bye

I got inside and all the lights were off, I walked down to my room and I saw the light on in Liam’s room. I peeked in his room and saw him staring at the wall.

‘What happened before Liam?’ I asked him

‘Nothing’

‘Didn’t seem like nothing, you stormed out’

‘I still love you Leyna, seeing you with another guy hurt.’

‘We are just friends, it was just going out as friends’

‘He looked at you the way I used to before we got together, Leyna he likes you’

I never thought of it that way, me and Corbin have just been friends. That’s all I ever thought of it to be, nothing more and nothing less. Now that Liam said it, it all makes sense.

Before I said anything Liam stood up and came and stood in front of me.

‘I miss you’ he whispered

‘I miss you too but-‘he cut me off by putting his finger to my lips

‘That’s all I needed to hear’ he said

He removed his finger and his lips met mine in a slow and passionate kiss, his hand cupping my jaw and his other hand on my waist. My arms slung around his neck, it was perfect but I wasn’t sure it was what I wanted.

He pulled away and smiled then walked over to his bed and sat on it, I walked out and went to my room and tried to fall asleep. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to get  back with Liam, yeah I still loved him and I missed him, I wasn’t sure if it’s what I really wanted to do.

I couldn’t sleep so I got up and checked my emails in hope to see a certain one.

A few months ago, I was told I was really good at netball so I tried out for Firebirds. I went to two trials and they said they would get to me by the start of December, which was today. Eight days until I was twenty, I wasn’t looking forward to it.
