Moving on -sequel to moving out-

Chapter Nine

The police had finally found Darren and he is in jail for a long time. I was six months pregnant by now and I was definitely showing. We aren’t finding out the gender of the baby because we want it to be a surprise.

Last night Liam took me out to a beautiful look out spot, we looked at the stars we could just see and we were rugged up in layers of clothing to keep warm. Liam got up and pulled me up with him.

‘Leyna, I love you. Will you marry me?’ he said pulling out a box with a beautiful ring in it

‘Yes’ I said crying

It was an amazing night.

We were going to visit Liam’s parents today and stay for the night, I was pretty excited. I hadn’t seen them for a while. Well it was only a month but it seemed like forever. Karen and I got along really well and so did Ruth and I.

When we got there no one was home but Liam had a key so we were able to get in, I loved this house, I always have. It is so big and neat and beautiful, unlike at home where there is food packets everywhere mainly because of Niall. There is still paint around the house from where they have walked into walls after painting up the nursery, there is one spot on the walls where Harry was pushed into the wall and held there so now there is a Harry print on the wall which is quite funny.

Dad always says he is going to paint it but he leaves it there for laughs because Harry hates it.

‘That’s how Bald Harry would look like’ Louis said the first time we all saw it

Now we all laugh every time we walk passed it.

‘Would you like a drink?’ Liam asked

‘Yes please’

Liam handed me a glass of coke, my favourite. He walked up to put our bags in our room and Karen and Ruth came through the door.

‘Leyna! You are here’ Karen said hugging me

‘Sure am’ I smiled

‘Look how big you are now’ Ruth smiled

‘I feel like a bus’ I laughed

We went and sat on the couch and caught up on what we missed in the past month.

‘You saw each other last month, what is there to miss?’ Liam asked walking into the room

‘Uh, everything, duh’ Ruth said then turned to me

‘I brought a new pair of shoes’ she said

‘Oh my god, me too and I also got engaged’ I said casually showing them my ring

‘Oh my god!’ Ruth squealed

Her and Karen were both looking at my ring and smiling.

After a few hours of talking and catching up on everyday things and baby, we had dinner. Karen cooks the most amazing lasagne so we had that.

‘Uh guys’ I said ‘my waters just broke’

‘Are you sure? It’s only been six months, are you sure you just didn’t wet yourself?’ Liam said panicking

‘Um, im sure Liam. My waters just broke’

They raced me to the local hospital and called my dad who came rushing over.

Labour went on forever; it took 12 hours to get the baby out. Liam had nail marks on his hands from where I dug my nails into him. Note to self; say sorry to Liam.

‘Congratulations, you have a baby girl’ the doctor said handing the tiny baby to me

Dad took a picture of the three of us together before they had to take her to the special care to put her in an incubator. We hadn’t thought of a name yet, we were going to do that closer to the time.

‘I think we should call her Megan, after your mum’ Liam smiled

‘What do you think of Megan Karen Payne?’ I asked

‘I love it’

Megan after my mum and Karen after his mum. We both loved it and we were both happy. We went down to see Megan in her incubator. She was so small, weighing only 4 pounds. The doctors said we could take her home in about three months; we would come back here every day to see her. It was going to be hard work but we would be alright, I was staying in hospital for another week before I went home. Liam put the photo of the three of us on twitter and heaps of people retweeted it and once again ‘congratulations Leyna and Liam’ was trending.

Now I had the perfect fiancée, the perfect daughter and we also had the perfect family. We had heaps of support from everyone at home, Niall, Louis, Harry and Zayn came to see us the next day and they saw Megan. They all loved her, it was cute. I knew they would be the best uncles a girl could ever have.
