When I rang the doorbell, a girl with white hair opened up. She was about to close the door when I put my foot between the small space of

the door. I took my gun and held it to her head.

"Don't even think about it," she stepped back. I pushed open the door. Markus was there. Sean came running downstairs, "Hey Jess What's up?"

"The sky." He laughed then said, "Still works every time."

He hugged me but seeing the gun he pulled away. "..and that?" I looked at Markus then

said, "Safety reasons. Plus I don't want you going all vamp on me."

He offered me to sit down on the coach. "I want to talk to you about something." He sat down next to me. "What is it?" I wanted to say something but got interrupted, "Hey Sean, wanna go hunting?"

"I'll catch up with you guys later. Kay." I turned around and saw Aiden.

"Okay dude, you're really missin' out." He walked out through the backdoor. His attention was back at me.

"You were saying...?"

"Actually it's about what they did."

I saw him tense up. His jaw clenched together, his eyes blood red. This topic was really a hard

one for him. "You knew?" He looked at me then said, "I'm

sorry." His eyes were pleading at me. Begging for something .

"Sean? Did you also have

something to do with my abduction?"

"Yes, you could say something like that. But I didn't kidnap you. Mom did."

This new information took some time to sink into my head. The woman I have been mourning

over wasn't my real mother after all these years. It also meant that Sean wasn't my real brother.

"Why did they do it? What's the motive?" He looked at me with sad eyes.

"My sister died a month before you came. I was sad and depressed. When you came there I felt

happy to help them. To make you think we are your family. You looked like her... Your eyes, hair, and your smile. I was a kid who didn't understand right or wrong."

"You kept this from me Sean. You knew and never bothered to tell me. Do you know how hard it is to find out from somebody else?"

There was anger in my voice. I tried to calm down.

Markus came downstairs then said,"He said he was sorry." My head shot in his direction.

"Stay out of this. Why don't you go out and fight crime. Oh, yeah wait... You do the opposite." Why did he have to be here.

"You heard he was

sorry. I should've killed you when I had the chance. Bitch". I took out my gun. Pointed it at his head. "I made this bullet in this gun. It has

mountain dust and wood in it. A pinch of explosives. Want to test me?" He backed away.

I looked at Sean.

"Remember when we escaped. I couldn't leave you behind. I told you to run no matter what happened to me. They grabbed my hair,"

I felt a big lump in my throat, "ripped off my clothes

and raped me. I didn't care what happened to me as long as you were safe."

I saw how Markus tried to make a run for it,

"don't you dare,"

I looked back at Sean, "I tried to protect you. But vampires didn't care who and what they hurt. I was a kid. When I was thirteen I started killing. My first prey was the guy who raped me. I watched him beg for mercy and forgiveness. But he caused too much pain," I

looked at Markus, "now you see why I despise vampires so much? Because they don't care. They take what is not theirs" I dropped

my gun to my side,

"every time I care about someone my foster parents they get killed. My boyfriend gets killed. all the people that i Love dies at the hand of you Leeches . That was when I went off the grid," a racket of noise came from the backyard. The door went open.

"I'm leaving." I walked straight for the door.
