Zhou Zhenya was shocked. What happened to Miss Ghost's haunting face? Where did it go? She was looking for traces of the phantom that was previously present, but to no avail. Instead, what was in its place was now a face exuding emanations of beauty and comeliness.
"A- are you Miss Ghost?" Zhou Zhenya asked, agitated by what she was seeing.
"Hmm? Ah, of course." Wen Hui muttered while looking at Zhou Zhenya who was stuttering, struggling to utter a response.
"Well, umm, I- uh, I don't think... you need my help anymore..." After continuous mistakes, Zhou Zhenya managed to complete a full sentence, even with her tongue refusing to obey her brain's commands at least half of the time.
Meanwhile, Wen Hui was dazed what she had heard. Her whole plan... was destroyed like this! She washed her face thoroughly with the little girl applying makeup to her face again in mind, forgetting the little girl's potential reaction when she revealed her natural face to her. Right now, her mind was in chaos as she racked her brains for another solution, another way to excuse herself from the promise with her student. After a while, no such thing came to her mind. Only by persuading the little girl to put makeup on her again would her beauty be hidden and her face deteriorate to its earlier state, before she had washed it.
"No, no, no, no, no! My face still isn't good enough for revenge... You need to help me!" Wen Hui spoke at a quick speed, hurrying to convince the lady to mess her face up, cough, I mean, to put makeup on her face.
"Huh? But in my opinion, you are beautiful enough, Miss Ghost!" Zhou Zhenya complimented the lady ghost, leaving Wen Hui flustered. Not because the sweet words flattered her, but because these words worried her.
"Well, if you won't do it, I won't exact revenge at all." In a last resort, Wen Hui threatened to change her plans. So adamantly insisting that I become more beautiful, she must have some plans of her own that makes use of it! "Besides, you're pretty enough yourself, you should do it for me!"
"Eh? What... no! Fine, I'll put makeup on you!" Zhou Zhenya hurried to change her decision. Her weak-minded personality that was easy to be exploited by others was her disadvantage here.
"Hehehe! Yes, finally." Wen Hui said as she nodded with a wide grin. Her expression was exuding satisfaction as she closed her eyes and crossed her arms.
Seeing this, Zhou Zhenya was confused. Why would this woman be so determined on making me put makeup on her face? Did she lose her mind in the process of becoming a ghost or something? Nevertheless, she already agreed on doing it, so there was no backing out now.
"Okay then, let me get something to step on first..." Zhou Zhenya went outside the restroom, looking for a stool or any other object that could enable her to match the ghost's height.
She stepped into the gymnasium, hoping to find one.
"Ah, there..." She saw a small stool beside the wall and hurried to get it.
Walking closer and closer, the stool also got close and closer, making it look bigger. Zhou Zhenya's steps slowed as she approached the stool that seemed small from afar. Her eyes got wider and wider as she continued to walk.
The sound of footsteps stopped. Zhou Zhenya stared at the object in front of her with great shock. This... is a stool? What the heck is this? Why is it so... big?
With a stool that was at least double her height, Zhou Zhenya felt like she was becoming smaller and smaller. "Am I... really that small?"
...
Wen Hui was waiting for the little miss to come back. She hummed to fill the silence that occupied the room she was in. Some time passed, and the little lady was still not back...
"Hmm?" Wen Hui couldn't suppress her curiosity anymore, as she wondered what was holding the little lady up so much. She walked out of the restroom in a brisk pace, heading towards the room adjacent.
There she saw the little miss with incredulity plastered all over her face, looking at the decoration that they put up for "Giant Day".
What is "Giant Day", you ask?
...Don't ask me...
"Little miss, please be quicker, class has already started!" Wen Hui reminded the little lady of the time. It was well past the time when class started, and she was late for about thirty minutes now.
.....
Meanwhile, in the classroom.
"..."
"Where's Teacher Wen?"
.....
"Ah..." Zhou Zhenya twisted her head to look at the ghost who was beckoning her to be faster. Dritfing her attention away, she looked for a suitable stool.
"There... finally!" She found one and picked it up, carrying it towards the room outside the gymnasium, the restroom.
As Zhou Zhenya put the stool down on the floor, Wen Hui walked closer to where the girl was.
"Let's start! Miss ghost, please close your eyes." Zhou Zhenya requested a little something, intending to surprise the supposed ghost after she finished.
"Uh, okay..." Seeing as there was no reason to refuse, Wen Hui complied to the little girl's request. Hmm, maybe she knows that she will mess my face up, and is embarrassed to let me see?
With that, Zhou Zhenya flashed a smile that disappeared as soon as it came. She grabbed the foundation.
...
"Blah, blah, blah, jargon, jargon, jargon..."
"Foundation and lipstick and eyeliner and other makeup things..."
"Jargon, jargon? Yes, blah, blah, jargon."
...
After much waiting, Zhou Zhenya finished applying the makeup on the ghost's face. She put her whole effort into this, as this was her first time applyjng makeup to someone else.
Even though she had a strange confidence supporting her, this was, after all, her first time, and it wouldn't make sense for her not to be nervous.
However, it seems that her worries were all nonsense. She found gratification in just looking at the results of her hardwork.
"Okay, miss ghost, you can open your eyes now!" Cheon Song Yi said.
