"Hey Hades," I say as the black horse trots towards me.

"I'm guessing this is Apollo," Clint says, petting the gentle horse.

"I like these horses," Thor says behind me. I jump and turn to see him and Loki.

"Kristen told me to tie him up here," Thor explains before I can question him. I watch him take Loki to the pole in the corner. I watch curiously; my gaze meets Loki's steady one and smile a bit. He doesn't do anything to show a reaction.

"There," Thor says. The handcuff's chain went around the pole, stopping him from escaping.

"(Y/n) let's go," Clint says. I tear my eyes away from his captivating ones and saddle Hades then get on. I give Loki one last look and begin to ride along next to Clint.

"Wait so Kristen's afraid of spiders?" Clint asks as we walk into the stables.

"Deathly," i say with a laugh.

"I know what to do for next April fool's now," he chuckles.

"She'll kill you," I warn him.

"I'll take my chances," Clint says with a wink.

"Clint!" Steve yells from the house.

"You go, I'll put them back," I tell Clint.

"Thanks," he says and hands me Apollo's reins.

"Aren't they amazing?" I ask the horses as I put them each in their stall and give them dinner. Hades neighs and I smile.

"Glad you agree," I say. I turn and jump when I see Loki.

"I forgot you were here," I sigh. He was sitting on the ground right now.

"Not much of a conversationalist?" I ask and grab some hay. I set it down next to Loki till there is a decent pile.

"Can you stand?" I ask. He doesn't comply for a bit but then gets up. I take the hay and put it where he was sitting.

"There that should be more comfortable," I say and dust my hands.

"(Y/n)! Dinner!" Kristen yells.

"Goodbye for now I guess," I say and begin to walk out.

"Thank you," A smooth voice says behind me. Wow his voice was hot. I turn and smile a bit.

"Your welcome," I say and walk back home.

"Ah you're back, Nico made dinner," Kristen says as I walk into the dining room.

"You didn't have too," I tell Nico.

"Wow this is actually decent," Tony says as he takes a bite of his food.

"Thank you?" Nico says. The others compliment his cooking as well and I sit to eat.

"I put Loki's food in the back of the fridge," he whispers as he talks his seat. I smile and quietly thank him. He nods and we begin to eat.

"So Kristen, (y/n) tells me you're afraid of spiders," Clint says. She glares at me a bit.

"What did you tell him?" She asks.

"A lot of stuff; I'll be pranking you till the day you die," Clint says.

"Count me in," Tony says.

"Let's um change the topic," Kristen says giving me a side look.

"So Clint told me Loki is adopted," I tell Thor.

"Yes he is," Thor confirms.

"Really? When did your parents adopt him?" I ask.

"Why do you want to know so much about him?" Kristen asks.

"I'm just curious," I say and bump Nico's knee from under the table for support.

"We adopted him when he was only a baby," Thor says.

"What was he like when he was young?" Nico asks.

"Hmm he was a trickster I tell you that, he played with me a lot, read, and trained with me," Thor says.

"Change of topic once more," Kristen says.

"Ugh you're a party pooper," I groan.

"No I'm your sister who's trying to protect you," Kristen says.

"Let's all keep our heads together," Bruce says.

"let's," I say with a small smile.

I quietly walk out my room. It was like 2 am right now. Everyone should be sleeping. I tiptoe down and take the food out the fridge, heating it up.

"Please don't wake up," I whisper as the microwave beeps. I wait a couple seconds, no sound. I take the food and grab a spoon, walking out quietly. Once I'm out I briskly walk to the stables.

"Loki?" I whisper. I could see him clearly. The moonlight hitting his pale, sleeping face.

"Hey Loki," I say a bit louder. When he doesn't respond I poke him. He opens his eyes and jolts frontwards, the handcuffs stopping further movement.

"Sorry to wake you but I brought you food," I say with a sheepish smile. He glares at me a bit but then looks away.

"Stop being childish and eat," I say and bring the spoon up, he simply turns away his head. How do you get a stubborn god to eat?

"Hey look you failed we get it," I say with a sigh hitting his pride.

"I didn't fai-" he begins to say but I interrupt by placing a spoon of food in his mouth. His eyes widen as he glares at me but chews the food.

"Did I just trick the God of lies and mischief?" I ask myself.

"You will pay for that morta-" Loki sneers but I place more food in his mouth.

"I'm surprised you talk," I say honestly. He scoffs and looks away.

"Come on, one more?" I ask and bring the spoon up.

"You think you can boss me aro-" he says.

"There we go, now that's what we call progress," I say and clap my hands. I get up with the plate.

"Oh yeah almost forgot," I slip the backpack off me to reveal a blanket.

"Nights get chilly here," I say and put it on him. I pick up the plate again and begin to walk out.

"Why are you being nice? You of all people should hate me," Loki says.

"That's how the world sees you Loki. I don't know you enough to judge you for what you've done. I once read, ' not all villains were born evil' and I guess it applies to you as well," I say and continue my walk home, quietly putting everything back and slipping into bed.
