I was tagged by bellaschneeb weeks ago and I'm finally getting around to it.
1. The PJO/HOO Character I relate to this most is Annabeth because we both have blond hair, are high maintenance, and our fatal flaw is hubris. Also, Athena is my godly parent.
2. Romance wise, I'm like Reyna, who was told by Aphrodite/Venus that she will never find love. Oh well, the only guys worth a worth a darn are only found in books away.
3. I'm in New Jersey right now, visiting my grandparents. My mom's family is from New Jersey and we go down to visit them several times a year.
4. Tomorrow is a family reunion. I'm not looking forward to dealing with my shitty cousins.
5. I don't find "It's Quiet Uptown from Hamilton as beautiful and moving as everyone else seems to do. It buys into the whole trope that if you're husband cheats on you, you're obligated to "be the better person" and forgive. I highly doubt that Hamilton would have behaved as well as Eliza did if she had cheated on him. I think that Hamilton was a case of "only sorry he got caught." I'm sick of the whole "you can cheat on someone and still love them" excuse. Cheating is deliberately doing something you know will hurt someone. I understand hurting someone you love by mistake but cheating is a conscious choice.
As much as I love Eliza, I find it pathetic and sad that she spent her life devoted to a man who never loved her. It's a shame she couldn't have gotten a divorce and found someone who actually did love her.
6. I relate to Eliza because no one loves me (I'm just being melodramatic 😉)
And before you bring up Angelica, Angelica spends most of the musical hitting on Eliza's husband and set Eliza up to get her heart broken in the first place, so all those lines about how much she loves her sister, I usually see as a case of the lady protesting too much.
A/N I know the musical is different from the actual history. I'm referring to the characters in the musical, not the people they are based on.
7. As you can see, I have a lot of Hamilton feels
8. I have a lot of feels in general.9. Back to the whole "never find love" thing. Two guys have been interested in dating me in the past but I wasn't interested in them.
10. I start my final year of college on September 3rd
