Finally Knowing

     The ride only lasted 15 minutes but it was amazing. Being by Eric was like old times. We talked, laughed, acted like kids. We loudly played music while we drove to the mystery place. When we arrived I was so surprised it was my favorite place to eat. Papa's Pizzeria was an older place but they had amazing pizza. I personally knew the owners since I was there often. When we got out of the car and began walking up to the enters I asked still somewhat surprised 

"How did you know?

"Know what? He answered back as he opened the door

"Ah, Eric... oh Ella also." "Our favorite customers."

"Nice to see you Jesus and where's your lovely wife Jose? asked Eric

"She's in the back, today." "I'll let her know your both here."  (Jesus)

"Okay, thank you." (Eric)

Yes, now take a seat." (Jesus)

We looked around for a table. Eric tapped me pointing at an empty table in the corner. 

"This a good one?

"Yeah, this should be fine."

We took a sit and waited for Jesus and his wife to come back. With a very loud bang, Jose opens the door rushing in to see us.

"Aw, you two." "My favorite customers, how have you two been?

"Good." we both said with a smile

"That's good." "Want your normals? 

"Well, I don't know what you like but I'm simply," said Eric

"Same here." I laughed

"You guys both get the same thing even down to the extra sauce," explained Jose turning back to the back door.

"Wait really? I giggled thinking she was joking

"I get only cheese pizza... I interrupted saying with extra sauce."

"Yeah." Eric chuckled

We laughed for a moment. Continuing on talking about how crazy it was and just talking casually until our pizza showed up. 

"Looks yummy." (Eric)

"Yeah, good thing its here I'm starving." (Ella)

"Same here." (Eric)

"Okay, you start first." (Ella)

"I start first? "Why should I start first? (Eric)

"Because I thought of the deal In the first place." (Ella)

"Okay, fine." (Eric)

"So what happened? " You stopped talking to me." (Ella)

"It's a long story." (Eric)

"Well, I have time." (Ella)

"Okay, well back in fourth grade my mother was taking care of us. My sister and I one day after school found her on the ground. She was taken to the hospital where they found out well she was sick she fought hard but in the end, she didn't make it. My sister took it harder then I so she became a diva when we moved in with my father. Since I was hanging out with you and not being a man my father told me to stop being friends with you and he put me in football. He wouldn't allow me to even see you. He thought my mother was allowing me to be a baby and football was his way to make me a man." after he said that he looked down

"Omg... Eric that's horrible." I grabbed his hand "I'm so sorry."

"It's okay, she not hurting anymore." He muttered

"What did she have? "You said she was sick," I mumbled quietly

"Cancer, she had brain cancer." 

"You want to get out of here? "Finish talking at the park close by? I asked

"That sounds great." He said as he reached into his pocket

After paying for our meal me got into the car and began heading to the park. In seconds we got to the park. I reached into my pocket and clicked on my phone which read 6:32 pm. 

"Ready? Eric asked

"Yeah," I replied

I walked over to a nearby park bench taking a seat right in front of a small crystal blue pond. Eric following not too long after taking a seat right next to me. 

"So what was Ashlyn talking about? "Was she lying? he asked

"Yes and no," I mumbled shyly
