Dan felt his heart melting some more.
"You remembered?"

Phil scratched the back of his head in a sheepish manner and explained that Zoey was the one who had in fact reminded him about it.

At the mention of Zoey, Dan felt his chest ache, not because they broke up but because of the fact that, he wouldn't be able to be with Phil.

Dan had never felt this sad before. What Phil said was right but he couldn't help feeling that if he had just opened his eyes and realised his feelings for Phil a little earlier, they wouldn't be in this position now.

And Phil looked so cute right now. His hair was sticking out in different directions and he had to admit that sweatpants and a hoodie never looked this good on someone before.

"Dan?"
