Chapter 3-Going To Camp Half Blood

        Luna went up to her room to pack. Her siblings, Clary, and Artemis's lieutenant Thalia (who was a daughter of Zues) followed her.

"So what should I pack for the 'camp' that my mother is taking me to?" Luna asked Thalia who was standing in the doorway staring at Jace and Alec with a grim expression.

"Anything really, the weather there stays about the same year round because we have, basically a covering to protect from rain and bad weather." Thalia answered. She eyed Luna with what looked like jealousy. "You know you should give Artemis a chance. She is the best person I know, if I had a chance of her being my mother I would-"

"Yeah but she's not is she?" Luna interupted angrly, "I'm the lucky one to just find out that she's my mother after 16 years of actually wanting her to come get me."

"Hey, how about we leave the dramatics behind Luna, we all are going to go pack to come with you." said Isabelle.

"You guys aren't coming." Thalia said. Everyone looked at her. "Even if we allowed you to come, you couldn't get past the tree that protect the camp. No mortal can get through without permission and you lot are not permitted."

"One," Luna started "we aren't mundanes, or mortals. Two, you have a tree protecting your camp? And three, I permit them to come." Luna finished.

Thalia gave her a blank expression. "They aren't demigods, which is what I was prefering to. It's not just a tree, thank you very much, it was me." Everyone looked at her like she was crazy. "Long story, anyways it's not in your place to let them into camp."

"Okay, fine, guys I'm sorry but you have to stay here. I'll keep you updated of what's going on." "But Luna-" "Sorry Izzy, you guys can't go." she gave them all a hug and turned to Thalia. "Okay, I think I'm ready to go."

        With that Thalia turned around and told Luna and the rest to follow her. They returned to the lobby to find an utter silence between the remaining party. Thalia told Artemis that they were all ready to go, and that only Luna was going. Everyone told Luna goodbye and when it was Magnus's turn he winked at her. She didn't understand what he meant but it was Magnus so she didn't ask. They were on there way out when Luna asked how they were getting to CHB.

"It's only in Long Island, dear, we can walk." said Artemis.

"We don't have to walk there, I can make a portal for us to go threw, Clary taught me last week. Perks of being a Shadowhunter." the last part was directed to Thalia.

"Demigods aren't suppost to be able to do anything like, it might not be safe." One of the hunters said back.

"It isn't 100% safe but it sure is fun. It's like going on a standing rollercoaster." said Magnus from the back of the group.

"That's like Nico's shadow-traveling," Thalia said. "It seems like a good idea to me." Evryone looked at her.

"Okay, well then let's go." Artemis said. And with that Luna drew a portal and they were off the camp half blood.

** AT HALF BLOOD HILL** Percy's P.O.V.

        It's been a day since the Stolls told Annabeth and I the knews. Who knew that Artemis was going to have a child. I thought the underworld was going to freeze over before this would happen. Note to self ask Uncle Hades how his realm is doing and if it feels a little chilly. Chiron told us at breakfast that we will be having a special guest today (everyone knew who it was, thanks to Connor and Travis) before dinner, so all day everyone has been getting ready making camp look a little better. All the campers, saters, niads, Mr. D, and Chiron were standing at the bottom of Half Blood Hill when a bright blue swirl of light shown up by Thalias Tree. I put my hand on Riptide just in case. It wasn't there very long when I saw who stepped through. Artemis is older form and a girl around our age who looked like a younger version of the older Artemis. Wow that was confusing.

Luna's P.O.V.

        I followed Artemis since I had no clue where I was going. When I stepped through I was standing on a hill next to a huge Pine Tree, so that's the infamous tree, facing 60 or so campers. I couldn't help but feel nervous. As the other hunters came through my portal a centaur, CENTAUR, I had to admit I've seen many weird things in my life but this was deffiantly the weirdest started towards us. He was with a guy who looked like a grown cherub in a cheetah print shirt. I felt everyone's eyes on me. I looked down to find I was still in my gear with my runes showing and some demon ichor on my pant leg. I really should have cleaned up.

        "Hello my name is Chiron and this is Mr. D," said the centaur, Chiron, poining to the cherub looking man "We are the director and trainer of this camp. What is your name my dear?"

"First name is Luna, last name I'm not so sure of anymore." I said glaring at Artemis she looked back at me with a soft expression. "I heard I was needed here, so let's get this over with. I want to get home as soon as I can."

"How about we take this to the big house and talk about this." offered Artemis. "My hunters and the cabin counselors can come if they like."

        Chiron agreed with her and we all started walking to a big 4 story house, I was quite impressed, it was really pretty. All the hunters and 'cabin counselors' gathered into what looked like a rec room. We all gathered around a ping pong table when all of a sudden by the door a bright blue swirl shown and out came Magnus, Alec, Izzy, Clary, Jace, and suprisingly Simon. He had been turned itno a Shadowhunter a few weeks ago and was adjusting quite nicely. Although he rarely came with us on quest because of training. I ran over to them and hugged each and everyone one of them.

        I turned around to find pretty much all the campers with a weapon in hand. I was about to tell them to put them away when Chiron came over to us and gave Magnus a hug. Wait, what?

 "Magnus! It's been so long! How are you doing? Where have you been? The Party Ponies miss you!" said an over eager centaur. Okay scratch what I said earlier, THIS was definitly the weirdest thing I've ever seen. All the shadowhunters looked at Magnus. "You know him?" asked Alec with a bemused expression.

"Yeah about two hundred years ago I ran into this guy and have been hanging out with him and his friends 'The Party Ponies' at every get together. I stopped going when I met you guys. You lot know how to make me feel everyone of my years. And that's alot." said Magnus. I've learned alot today.

"Okay, now that we have that settled can I ask what you guys are doing here?" I asked my family and friends.

"We knew deep down you wanted us to come, so when you weren't looking we put a tracking rune on your bag and followed you, after piking up Simon." said Izzy.

"I can't belive you guys did that."

"You knew we are more than capable than doing it. Magnus knew from the start what Camp Half Blood was because of his friend, so he knew how to get in here without to much trouble. Besides did you really think I was going to let my parabatai go out on her own. No, I don' think so." said Izzy. I gave her a side hug for caring about me so much.

"Can you guys explain what you're talking about and who you are?" said a camper with black hair and sea green eyes. I rolled my eyes. "Okay," I said back "let's get this started."
