I woke up last night
and the sky was dark
and the moon was sitting
lonely
on a bench in the garden.
"Isn't it a shame,
that the sky stays empty,
that your bed stays empty,"
it said,
"And we sit out here."
"I think it's a shame,
that the sky stays dark,
that I don't do as I'm told,
and just sleep."
"Still,
They're empty anyway."
"Yes. They are."
So me and the moon sat
on the garden bench,
and waited for someone to come find us.
