ARIANA P.O.V.

I knocked twice on the trap door and waited for someone to answer. It's been two days since I last talked to Jahkeem, and I let him know I would be stopping by today to talk about a new plan, even though I didn't have one. I shifted my weigt to my right foot, once I heard the door crack open. "James it's me, Ariana."

"Who you here to see??" I sighed. "Jahkeem, who else." He closed the door and undid the chain before stepping outside. "Jahkeem ain't here." I frowned. "What do you mean he's not here?" He scrathed the back of his and head and shrugged. "Ion know any other way to tell you that he ain't here." I sighed.

"But I told him I was coming by today, he said to be here by 12." I rolled my eyes a little and shook my head. "So if he's not here, then where is he??" "Handiling business." I sucked my teeth. "What kind of business?"

"Business that I can't tell you about, he'll be back in a few weeks though." My eyes widened. "A few weeks???" James nodded. "Look, ion know why he would tell you to stop by here today, he left last night." I was silent. "Come back in 3 or 4 weeks, he should be back in town." I sighed. "Alright." I watched James step back into te trap house and lock the door. I didn't know where the hell Jahkeem was, or why he would tell me to stop by today knowing he was gone, but I wasn't with all the games. I pushed my shades closer to my face and walked off towards my car.

SIMONE P.O.V.

"Are you sure about this?" I asked Trey as we walked down the hosptial hallway. "For the milliont time, yes Im sure, if your scared about meeting my mom then just say so." He said in a chuckle. I pushed my hair over my shoulders and shook my head. "....Im a little nervous, but Im fine." I followed Trey down the hallway until we got to the room door.

"Ladies first." He said wit a smirk. I smacked my lips and pushed the door open. I slowly walked into the room, to see a older lady sitting up in bed, watching a soap opera on tv. Trey walked over to her and kissed her forehead. "Hey mom." She looked over at him and a small smile formed on her face. "Hey baby." She turned to the side and coughed before hugging him. "Mom, I brought somebody to meet you."

He motioned for me to come to him. I swalloed hard and walked over to the side of the bed next to him. "This is Simone, remember the girl I was telling you about." She reached out her fraile hand to me and smiled. I placed my hand in hers and smiled back. "It's nice to meet you Simone." I nodded. "Likewise." She took her eyes off my face and her gaze landed to my belly. "Aw, precious." She said lowly.

I looked over at Trey with a slighty nervous expression. He mouthed "Don't worry" and winked at me. "How far along are you?" I smirked. "I'll be 7 months in a few weeks." She smiled. "God bless you." She placed her hand on my belly and gently rubbed it. "Im gunna go get your nurse for your afternoon meds mom." Trey kissed me on the side of my forehead and left the room.

"So is Trey treating you well?" She slightly smiled at me before coughing. I nodded. "....Yes, we aren't together anymore, but he's been great friend to me." She smiled widely. "Good." She patted the side of her bed, motioning for me to take a seat. I gently sat on the side of the bed, waiting for her to speak. "So." She stared. "Is my grandbaby a boy or girl?" I smiled a litte at the fact that she was so sweet, but it quikly faded into a frown. "Look." I started.

"I don't know it Trey has told you or not, but Im not 100% sure-" "If he's the father." She said, finishing my sentece. "I know, Trey did tell me. But there's still a chance right??" I nodded as I looked down into my lap. "Well Im not going to treat you any different because your unsure, Trey doesn't treat you any different, so why should I?" She placed her hand on top of mine and rubbed it gently. "Thank you, you raised a wonderful man."
