Chapter 58

2 MONTHS LATER

I knocked on my mom's hotel room door and waited for her to open it. We had been in California for the past three days, and I couldn't believe the wedding was tommorow. And of course tonight, The girls and I were going out to celebrate. I picked up Aliyah's carrier, once I heard the locks click. "Hey baby." I smiled. "Hey mom." I walked inside her room, closing the door behind me.

I took a seat on one of the small couches, sitting Aliyah right beside me. "Is that my little gumdrop?" She asked in a baby voice. She crouched down, pulling Aliyah out of her carrier and into her arms. "Your getting so big girl." She said staring down at her face.

"I know, she's growing up way to fast." I said in a sigh. "Did you bring all of her stuff?" I nodded, slipping her baby bag off my shoulder. "Yeah, everything's in here." My mom nodded as she swayed Aliyah back and forth. "Alright, then we're all set." She said with a smile. I stood up from the couch and walked over to my mom.

"Bye Li-Li." I grabbed her small hand and kissed it. "I'll see you in the morning okay?" She looked up at me and smiled, making my heart melt. I placed a few kisses all over her face, causing her to giggle a little. "Be a good girl for grandma." My mom chuckled and fanned me off. "My baby is always good, aren't you?" She asked looking down at her.

I slowly walked over to the door and looked back at Aliyah one more time before I left. I hated leaving her, but I knew she was in good hands. I swalloed the tears I could feel in the back of my throat, and made my way up to my hotel room.

I walked into the bedroom and unzipped my suitcase, looking for something to wear tonight. I pulled out a few different dresses and was trying to decide which one to wear, when my phone vibrated in my my back pocket. I quickly pulled it out and smiled when I seen August calling.

ME: "Hello?"

AUGUST: " May I speak to Mrs.Alsina please?"

I smiled widely.

ME: "This is she."

He chuckled.

AUGUST: "Wassup ma?"

ME: "Nothing, trying to pick out a dress for tonight."

AUGUST: "And where you goin?"

ME: "Ellis, Kerri and Stasia are throwing me a party here at the hotel."

AUGUST: "Ight, don't party to hard na."

I chuckled.

ME: "I won't....what are you doing tonight?"

AUGUST: "Me and my niggas goin to the strip club."

I sucked my teeth.

ME: "Really?"

AUGUST: "It's a bachelor party ma, what you expect?"

ME: "Uh huh, you better behave yourself."

AUGUST: "Don't I always?"

ME: "No."

AUGUST: "Whatever, you miss me?"

I smirked a little because I did. We haven't seen one another since we landed here in California three days ago. We wanted to wait to see one another, so when we finally saw each other in the marriage hall, it would be special.

ME: "Of course I do, you miss me?"

AUGUST: "Nah, Im striaght."

I sucked my teeth.

AUGUST: "Im playin, you know I miss you ma, and Im horny as fuck too."

I laughed.

ME: "You only got 24 more hours to hold out, you'll be fine."

AUGUST: "Yeah yeah, how's Aliyah?"

ME: "She's good, I just took her up to my mom's room."

AUGUST: "Ight, you gave her a kiss for me?"

ME: "I gave her enough for the both of us."

I said in a chuckle.

AUGUST: "Good, but look, I gotta go ight? I gotta start gettin ready,I just wanted to hear your voice real quick."

I smiled.

ME: "Yeah okay, I'll see you tommorow."

AUGUST: "Love you."

ME: "Love you too."

I hung up the phone and tossed it on the bed. As much as I missed August right now, I knew that out little time apart would do us some good. After finally picking a dress, I went straight into the bathroom and started up the shower.

I sped walked to the front door, once I heard the rapid knocking. I looked out the peephole to see Kerri, Ellis, Kelsey and a few other friends of ours that I had invited to the wedding. I unlocked the door and let them all inside.

"Girl I hope you ready to turn up, cause I brought the liqour." Ellis said holding up two bags full of bottles. "She can't get to drunk E, she still has to get married tommorow." Kerri added. He fanned her off. "Whatever tonight she ain't playing wifey or mommy, she can get as loose as she wants." I laughed along with everyone else.

"Im not gettin wasted, but tipsy, of course." Kelsey set up the music while Ellis and Kerri filled the small kitchen with alcohol and snacks. Just then there was a loud knock at the door. "You invitied more people?" Kelsey asked me. I shook my head. "No, I don't think so."

I unlocked the door and frowned once I seen a man standing there. "Can I help you sir?" He smirked. "Are you Simone?" I nodded. "Yes, and you are?" He picked me up and carried me bridal style back into the room, closing the door with his foot.

"What the hell is going on?! Put me down!" Everyone cheered in the room as he sat me down on the couch. He lifted his shirt above his head, making all the girls scream. "Oh god, who did this?" I asked looking around. "You know it was me!" Ellis said loudly. As he pulled out the baby oil, that's when I realized, Ellis had hired a stripper for the night.
